They changed us to another hotel so close to that one because they had a problem on it, but the new one was even better! Everything was so luxurious, they had even a jacuzzi and a sauna. We went to ski but it was no snow, so we stayed a lot of time in the hotel enjoying it. Personal was also very nice! It was such a lovely place. :)

I can feel staff are trying to helpl and really friendly but they dont speak english which makes complicated in communication. Like i dont know what is included and what is charged even though i can feel they are honest but just i dont understand what was charged. Also i left message no need for dinner in room on my arrival day, i guess they are nice or dont understand my message, they still put dinner in my room and was wasted. I appreciate the gesture, but just check the message and that is not neccessary. No harsh feeling, just totally can be avoid misunderstanding

The town is very quiet, the countryside is beautiful.

The town is very quiet, the countryside is beautiful. I especially recommend visiting the glass factory, it is very interesting! The entire Mátra region is characterized by picturesque landscapes, there are great tours for all ages. However, some of the highlights are not marked with signs, it is not easy to find something. The marketing part has been neglected, dear Rachel!

Nice little quiet village.

Nice little quiet village. The infrastructure is not very big, but there is a fairly well-equipped small shop and maybe two restaurants currently operating. Unfortunately, their opening hours are quite short. The Palóc market was a disappointment for us, because on the one hand it is not very big, and on the other hand it is very expensive.

A dying village.

A dying village. Nothing of its former glory is visible, the factory building is on the verge of collapse. Some people are even trying to squeeze every last penny out of the attractiveness of the place, riding on the reputation of the glass business, but this is more annoying than preserving tradition. The surroundings are beautiful, the forest is beautiful, the hiking trails are good. Like everywhere in the mountains.

The hotel is well situated in the Matra mountains. We were well received at reception and offered welcome drinks. Our room was spacious, clean with a comfortable bed. Breakfast and dinner were included in our package and was exceptional. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotels facilities were more then adequate. Good value for money.

I forgot my reservation with half board, and had dinner before arrival. My suggestion is that hotel should remind customer the last order time of restaurant for late arrival. I had a similar experience in Dolomites when I was driving to the hotel with a late arrival.

Cozy hotel in a very beautiful place. Perfect for relaxation, and a very good starting point for a good hike. You can easily park your car in the hotel's private parking lot.
