This property was so good. Staff were excellent. Service was amazing. Christian the manager went above and beyond to ensure we enjoed our stay. They can organise anything from transport to tours and dont add a premium. They just want to serve well. The bungalows are a must. Couldnt have asked for more. Meals were small but satisfying. Thank you Kabinku. We will be back for sure.

Do not underestimate how cold the Bedugul area can be…pack a jacket!! I loved the electric blanket, heated towel rail and the fact that the shower was almost instantly hot when you opened the tap. The room is not massive but there’s more than enough space. I loved the fact that there was so much cupboard space. The staff were amazing and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and assisted with everything we needed (even when I needed a tailor to fix my broken handbag!) We rented scooters from them - all good. I loved the resident cat!! This is not a very big hotel and you never feel surrounded by loads of people. Their seating area at the lake (where you could also order food & drinks) very peaceful and really special.

We had a wonderful stay at Mr Glamping! The welcome was very warm and friendly. The room was spotless, everything is new and perfectly clean. The sheets smelled fresh and the breakfast was delicious. We highly recommend this place!

Our stay in Bedugul was a tranquil beginning to our stay in Bali. We loved the variety of scenery and activities. Although drivers were needed to access most of the activities most of these were not far from the hotel. Interactions with drivers and staff felt authentic. Loved that we could go for walks around GiriwoodHotel too. The lower temperatures in this region were very welcomed too.

Already did review but also they can send out laundry that can be done overnight for a reasonable price! Extremely helpful when on a long trip and packing light. Handara gate is not really worth paying and standing in line for. Go to Wanagiri for great photos. Banyu wana amertha falls is recommended. 3 waterfalls, no mafia guides harassing you, can take motorbike down to falls for cheap, not many people

Bedugul is more than just the temple on the lake, which is...

Bedugul is more than just the temple on the lake, which is always crowded. There are other areas such as the waterfalls and treks that dot the area. A visit to Bedugul should always include a day trip to the Botanical gardens which covers a large area (157 hectares) and has specific exhibits for various plant groups such as ferns and orchids. The gardens are at an elevation of about 1300m and temperatures in the day would be a very comfortable 19-24C outside the raining season.

The Botanical Garden is definitely worth a visit.

The Botanical Garden is definitely worth a visit. It is advisable to rent an e-bike there, because the park is very large and there are many hills. There is a local market in the city center, where they also speak a little Hungarian :) The Ulun Danu Bratan Hindu temple is also very interesting.

Markets and Ulun Danu Temple are best visited very early in the morning to avoid the crowds, as it's a very popular tourist spot. The temple on the water, the view of the lake and mountains are superb! It's a shame that they've added statues that have nothing to do with the temple, just to create photo opportunities or attract children…

Well, only when I was in the Botanical Garden (a 20-minute walk) did it start raining. Oh yeah, an electric bike isn't an e-bike like we have in the Netherlands. I'd recommend the electric scooter instead. You can have breakfast on the street leading to this garden as early as 7 a.m. The climate is pleasantly cool, but if it's rained, it can feel colder because of the humidity.

First of all, the views. Wonderful! Beautiful! Okay, a little bit scary to arrive at the hotel with a bike, but it is worth it. The staff was very helpful and showed us around. There was a very spacious room with many pieces of furniture. The yoga at 7 AM is - the perfect way to wake up. The breakfast (included) and the dinner (excluded, but available to order extra) - nice and tasty. All in all, it was a refreshing and peaceful place to stay

Probably the best location I've been so far in Bali, the dawn on the Agung from my tiny bamboo tree house was unforgettable. The place is a peaceful retreat managed by a super nice family. It's in an ideal position to discover the central mountains and its lakes and the famous botanical garden of Bedugul. I will definitely come back one day!
