Absolutely beautiful location, nice mountain views, gardens, swimming pool and fire pit, pool table and restaurant with great food - really cool a frame bamboo and wood cabins with decks and really nice bathrooms Romantic getaway for a couple and would be epic here with a group of friends or family What really stood out to me was the attentive staff, everything is done with such care and warmth, their service feels like you are at a 5 star hotel - I also recommend some waterfall hopping - the staff were able to organise us a guide which was well worth it to go see some absolutely incredible local waterfalls

I liked the whole atmosphere of Kabinku. It is in a quiet location, very close to the lake. The cabins are new, fully equipped with a good bed, a nice bathroom, and a digital TV. I really like the feel of the wooden interior. Also the bedding was nice; clean, cosy and fluffy. The garden is nice and well kept. The restaurant where meals are served has a nice cool and modern interior. Breakfast menu has good choices, and staff is eager to make any changes in the menu upon request. In the evening we had a very nice dinner in the restaurant/hotel across the little street from Kabinku. Also make sure to check this place out and walk all the way to the back where the lake is! An extra compliment for the staff of Kabinku btw. We had booked 3 non refundable rooms for our party of 3, but one of us decided to travel to Ubud right away. Since the room was non refundable, staff offered us a free driver for the next day. Which was really very nice and very much appreciated. So special thanks to Anni and Chris!

The staff is amazing - Wayan, Hendra and Sudiyashi are so kind and friendly, very caring. They offer breakfast along with accommodation but I don’t eat breakfast so they offered me lunch instead even though I didn’t ask for that. Also Wayan offered me to take to the neighbour mountain to see a very beautiful sunset. So nice! And the view - Oh my God what a view! Amazing! Rooms are clean and tidy, fresh renovated.

I am incredibly delighted to have discovered this wonderful villa in the north of Bali. At first, it was the villa that drew me in, but I soon found true friends and a family there. The incredible atmosphere created by the owner, the charming Frenchman Patrick, is something out of a dream. Traveling solo, my aim was to immerse myself in the culture, nature, and ultimately, to find myself. This place offered exactly what I was searching for. Everything about the villa was perfect – the breakfasts, cleanliness, comfort, coziness, and relaxation (you can order a massage at any time). Patrick can arrange anything you wish for, just ask. Buda's homestay is surrounded by nature. Buda and his family are happy to show their village and the beautiful surroundings. We learnt about their culture, got to taste their food, eat papaya from their garden etc. We booked the waterfall tour with a hike in the rice terraces and had a massage at the homestay. Everyone was helpful and friendly. It was one of our best and most authentic Bali experiences, we highly recommend it.
