The location, room, facilities, staff, food were all amazing. Particularly the staff and the food. An absolute gem of a place in a surprisingly beautiful location. The panoramic view from the room and dining area outside of the sea is out of this World. There are not many places left on earth where the view out to sea and the local islands is totally unspoilt.

We stayed at many places in Padang but this is one of the nicest ones. Very nice staff, good food and it's so peacefull inside the jungle. Totally recommend for one night or longer stays 😊

We’ve had an amazing stay at Sumatra Ecolodge! It is obviously no luxury ( no hot water, almost no reception, no GENERATORS), but in exchange you get the pure relaxing experience in the middle of nowhere, where you can spend your time just sitting on a beach watching turtles taking a breath on the water surface. I wish we could spend a couple more days. Rakai is a great host and a person to talk to.

I originally planned to stay at Secret Surf Camp for just two days but ended up extending to a whole week. The atmosphere is peaceful and calm, cozy environment that makes you feel like at home. The owners and the team working there are so kind and welcoming, adding extra bonus to the place. If you are looking for a relaxing escape with great vibes this is the perfect spot. Everything clean and comfortable! The staff is super nice and helpful! View is great, facilities great! Breakfast and the sky bar are both great, delicious food. The staff at the sky bar is exceptional.
