We stayed at Panorama guesthouse for a week during low season and it has been amazing. James and his family always went an extra mile to make us feel at home and to help us with moving around Batanta and organising our trip in a fast and reliable way(including picking us up from Waisai and taking us to Sorong). We felt welcomed and taken care of.  The house is basic, but fully new and spacious, they cleaned it every three days, they changed bed sheets, mosquito net is new, comfortable bed, there is everything you need.  The food was always freshly cooked, tasty and abundant. We always had veggies raw and cooked, rice, noodles, fresh fish/tempeh and tofu and fruit. They gave us fruit and little cakes as snacks, coffee and tea are always available. Breakfast was also good and satisfying.  The private beach is just heaven, quiet and relaxing. There is a great coral reef right in front of the house, we saw many fishes and a baby shark. You can see sunset and sunrise directly from the house.  You can visit the small village next to the house, 5 mins by walk. There is a diving center (gears top notch) 20 mins far by boat where we had a great night dive.  We would definitely recommend this place to everyone that wants to live a local experience in a edenic place very off the beaten track.  It's a place and a holiday we'll never forget.  Thank you James and family for the lovely stay! 

Beautiful homestay with only two little houses by the sea on the beach. It was truly paradise!! Very friendly family and excellent food. Nice house reef. Well arranged excursions to see dugong and casuary.

The resort is beautiful, the water had different blue and green colors everyday, beautiful sunrise and sunsets. T The food that had taste of love, really we travel a lot and never saw a home made food SO great. The crew took us to the best dive spots we have ever been with security and the diver was super dedicated to give us good experience. Ramdhan helped us with everything we needed and more. We never wanted to live. Finally we will miss our cat friends Puri, Puti and the others. Good location, private bathroom, excelent bed, great food, nothing to worry but enjoy. Amazing snorkeling roght in front of the resort full of fish and colorfuk corals.

We totally loved our stay at Tabari. The location is extraordinary on a remote island, and the attention to detail is clear as soon as you arrive on the jetty. Brigitte and Jeff are the most fantastic hosts, making sure all the guests feel at home. Their team is really lovely, attentive and have good positive energy. The bungalows are really well maintained, and so are all the facilities. The food is fantastic, there are delicious French crêpes or omelettes in the morning, fresh fruits on the table at all times, local fresh fish every day, freshly home baked cakes for dessert… Brigitte is always here to ask everyone if they need anything and it has been a joy and a privilege getting to know them as well as all the other guests. I had a severe ear infection and Brigitte went the extra mile organising my medication to be picked and delivered from Sorong when it wasn’t available anywhere else around Waisai. The excursions are also really well organised. We spend months doing research looking for this kind of owner-run place, and we were so happy to discover this gem :) we feel so lucky that we were able to stay here given this place is usually fully booked well in advance.
