A great location in the midst of nature, detached from others. Great view from the room and from the terrace, fresh air. Located between Malang and Bromo, so it is very convenient to go from the ecolodge to the Bromo tour. Scooters can be only rented on Malang, better to take minumun 120cc if you want to travel around, for example, to Sewu waterfall. Gojek works, but in the evening there maybe problems to get one, get a car in advance or ask the owner. The owners btw are very very cool and helpful! Thank you for helping us out!!!! Prepare warm clothes and socks.

The location is nice, from where you can visit the village, or walk down to the sand-sea (and if you feel for it you can walk all the way to Bromo crater itself; it just takes time to walk there). We were in the family room. It was nice. There are chairs in the balcony for you to enjoy the view a bit with some coffee. The shower works and gives warm water.

Host was very friendly and accomodating to our needs. The place was very clean, blanket was thick enough to keep us warm. Great location, very near to mount bromo.

Good selection of breakfast buffet with a change in the type of rice and noodles for every day that we stayed there. The facilities were of good condition and sufficient for our use during the stay at Bromo. Location was superb and the view of Mount Bromo from the hotel was awesome! 10/10 would stay at Bromo Permai 1 again!

This guest house has the perfect location, right on the edge if the caldera. You have a panoramic view of Bromo, the sea of sand and two other volcanoes. In the morning the valley is filled with mist. The whole terrace and restaurant face this view. If you choose to walk and climb Bromo, the path starts directly next to the hotel! Staff are helpful and friendly. Radi is great for jeep and transport. We had hearty breakfasts here. The rooms are basic but cosy with plenty of blankets and quilts, which you will need. Honestly you cannot find a better place for views. It's magical! Excellent value

A basic but clean room, equipped with a bed, a small table, a kettle, and a private bathroom with hot water. It has everything you need—except Wi-Fi. The accommodation appears to be relatively newly built, and parking is available right in front of the room. The view from the terrace is excellent, overlooking the caldera with Bromo and Batok. Communication is via WhatsApp, with the option to arrange tours and a jeep. It's a good base for trips to the Seruni viewpoint (and beyond), into the caldera, and to Bromo if you’re planning to explore on your own. It’s about a 1 km walk to the village of Cemoro Lawang for food—there’s nothing nearby the accommodation.
