There are quite a few places to stay in the area.
There are quite a few places to stay in the area. High end ones like Kommune and Desa Swan Villas are incredible but some of the more budget ones are almost as good. We already miss our large private quite friendly beautiful villa at Desa Swans!! # 16 is great!! And we just left today. A home away from home with a private pool!! We are now in a tiny beach hut with semi working air conditioning and semi poor customer service :( I don’t know if we will return to Bali but if we do we’d love to come back to Desa Swan. The infinity pool overlooks the island of Nusa Penida and there is a natural spring lake below the pool. Enjoy dining outside or inside at the restaurant that views the beachfront. Dinner was very reasonably priced and many options. Alcohol as always in Bali is similar priced to Australia and wine is always at a higher premium.
