I love this please so much. I love the people working there !!!! Nando, Will and all the others !! I miss you so much ! Thank you for being so friendly, so kind, I had so much good time even if I was alone. This island is Christian but as a French Muslim girl travelling alone I felt like in my second home really !! With my family 😍 The food was also very very very delicious ! The water cristal blue ! Snorkelling spot amazing ! Diving center amazing ! If we could rate 10000000/10 I would do it. We end it in staying 2 weeks a terimakashi homestay. The new bungalows are so beautiful, and I was really surprised how comfortable the beds and the pillows are. The staff is pretty new but they are lovely and try to help u as much as they can.

You know how people only ever write a review when an experience was either truly bad or exceptionally good. Well, this review will be an exceptionally good one. It was our first time in Raja Ampat, let alone Indonesia. Eddo Homestay was our first accommodation and we had low expectations from what we generally read about accommodations in Raja Ampat and because it was a newly built place with few reviews. However, our expectations were exceeded. The first thing I wanna highlight is the hospitality, kindness and service of all the staff there. I especially want to mention Acho, the guy who manages the Homestay and took care of anything we needed. The first two days we were the only two guests at the Homestay and had the best experiences. Acho personally went snorkeling with us at Yenbuba Jetty, took us to a Sandbank, to Sauwandarek Village and Arborek. He was pretty much our personal guide and we enjoyed every single minute of it. He went above and beyond to fulfill all our "wishes" / requests, no matter what it was about (excursions, food, more data for our sim card, etc.). He would also always sit with us for every meal, talk to us, share about life in Indonesia. It was like hanging out with your older brother. They also tried their best to offer a variety of different foods each day. For breakfast we had toast, fried eggs, pancakes, Nutella, jam, cheese and one day (upon our request) even Avocado. For lunch and dinner it's mostly rice but always with either fish, meat, vegetables, salad, etc. And always delicious. Our highlight were the chocolate chip cornflakes with cold fresh milk though. The cabins were very spacious with a double bed and mosquito net, a couch, a little closet area with hangers and a fan. The bathroom was huuuge and beautifully designed. Each cabin has a terrace with two lounge chairs where we mostly hung out. We had everything we needed. The entire place was very clean, the cabins, the restaurant, everything.

Abundance of marine life, slow pace.

Abundance of marine life, slow pace. I’d recommend bringing a snorkel vest for Raja Ampat for visibility to boats and safety just in case caught in a current. Snorkeling here was just about as good as the diving in the area was. Recommend bringing a flashlight when traveling here. I had no problems with mosquitoes; nevertheless, I used the mosquito net every night. I recommend going to see the GIANT turtles about 20 minutes away by boat. There was a lot to do here honestly—-even if I just floated around the house reef.

i spent 3 weeks on kri , so i cant compare to other islands...

i spent 3 weeks on kri , so i cant compare to other islands except Arborek (kri reef far superior). other travelers say kri next best to Pam (Fam) for reef quality. you can walk the whole island on the beach at low tide except the southeast quadrant where there are no homestays. you can also walk to neighboring Mansuar Island at low tide; i snorkeled there twice - the reef extends all the way between islands - but it is at least a kilometer and maybe a bit far for most people. no stores of any kind on kri; Mansuar has a small shop at Yenbuba (not to be confused with Yenbuba Homestay on Kri) wher yu can buy sodas, bandaids, insect repellent, toothpaste, sweets. hike up the trail on a clear day to the top of the mountain where there is a good view of the west half of the island

i stayed only on kri so can't compare it to other islands other travelers say it was above average walk off the beach reef snorkeling surrounding the island better than any of the ten or twenty snorkel destinations i've been to in my life homestay fun, like a hostel, meeting exceptional people from all over the world i stayed three weekes on kri, maybe a bit long, but i was able to see all of the reef all around the island, snorkeling every day, taking off some rainy or cloudy days take the hike up the center of the island to the lookout on a sunny day you can snorkel the whole island from off the beach except the southwest quadrant - cape kri - which, because of changing and strong currents is better from a boat

The island is unspoiled except for its northwest corner; the interior is covered in lush vegetation that reaches almost to the beach. There is a network of trails accessible with appropriate footwear, allowing you to reach various parts of the island.

The sea at Kri is fantastic.

The sea at Kri is fantastic. I think it's the best island in Raja for snorkeling. It's essential to choose your accommodation carefully because the amenities are very limited and you risk ruining a wonderful vacation.
