Villa pao pao was just what we were looking for a fantastic get away for us all the pool was just amazing as was the villa itself , all of the staff were very friendly and did everything to make our short stay even more memorable. , the on-site cafe was great for breakfast lunch and dinner catering for our varied needs my son and I eating local food my wife and daughter going for the more western option. Overall an amazing peaceful and very beautiful place to stay. We will be back soon. A special Thankyou to jatim and achir in the cafe for making our stay so special.

the property was lovely and spacious, much bigger than we anticipated… really clean with breathtaking views over the garden and out into the bay. The cafe was delicious, lots of options which was great! Pool was brilliant and we also had time to go out on a boat journey which was amazing! Staff couldn’t help enough and very friendly. Our favourite thing about the stay was how peaceful it was and even managed to watch the sunrise in the morning.

As a surfer I stayed at Bebaleq as I wanted to surf Desert Point. It was a brilliant decision. The host Jhon is one of the nicest people ever and in my opinion is a huge part of why you should stay at this property. The room itself is a simple but beautiful raised room/bathroom combo situated in the middle of a field near Jhon's house, which is about a 15 min scooter ride from Desert point (the actual distance is not very far however the roads between the two locations are terrible as anyone who has been to Desert Point will know). Being slightly removed from Desert Point can be seen as a good thing (or a bad thing, depending on your opinion). Personally I found it a positive as the residence is very quiet, with no noise and I enjoyed the fact I was staying in a local village. Also you are still exceptionally close to a protected beautiful beach (it is just this beach doesn't have surf). In particular a highlight I would like to mention was Jhon going out of his way to help cart my surfboards to desert point in the early hours of the morning without expecting any payment for such a service. He truly is a brilliant host and this seemed representative of all the people I met in the village who were exceptionally friendly. Also as a note there are local cattle on the property, they are very chill/quiet but will sometimes rest underneath the house (personally I thought this was an added bonus).

Perfect getaway. A great location with snorkeling straight off the beach or by boat trip to surrounding islands. Basic but lovely air-conditioned bungalows right on the beach. Friendly and attentive staff. Fresh hot bread at breakfast an added bonus. Will return again.

Everything. Room was very big with beautiful terrace and hammock in front. The owners were very friendly and really caring. Breakfast was really very nice. The place is in a small village which was clean compare to the other villages on the other side of the island and everyone was very friendly.

Absolutely loved our stay at Palmyra and wish we could have stayed longer! The perfect little oasis for us to relax after Mount Rinjani trek - we felt spoilt by the serene location, waking up to roll into the sea, amazing food ( definitely try the Pepes and fresh barbecued fish with the most amazing spice marinade), massages (much needed for our sore legs), super lovely staff and a great day trip snorkelling. Loved the bungalows and sustainable cold water salt shower. Thank you, we felt so looked after! We’ll be back!
