The place looks amazing. The room was clean and spacious, and its view is on a beautiful garden. Sri is very nice and helpful. Breakfast is very good. The beach is 2 minutes walking. We definitely recommend this place!

I arrived from Ijen, kinda sick and tired, but then I arrived at Red beach homestay. Here I could relax and regain energy. David (the host and owner) showed me around in the area. You truly get the feeling of joining the moana movie at this point. I stayed for an extra nigth just because of the vibes. Should’ve stayed longer. David cares about his place and guests! Beach is also great for beginner surfers. Amazing to go to the islands just south of the beach

This place was a real find. Just a short walk to the beach and very affordable. The room is simple but it has all you need. What made our stay really great was the owner, Hendro, who is an absolutely outstanding host! Hendro is very approachable and has a wealth of info about the area and activities. He is also a great guide and we went with him for a great boat tour of the mangroves just outside the national park. He also runs a restaurant at the beach, where we got a delicious dragon fruit welcome drink. Highly recommended! :)

Pros: there is a Wi-Fi ready to help the girls at the reception (they gave my son a deep plate when he needed it), a good location from the beach - 2 steps, a beautiful facade of the building, there is stable hot water - a big plus.

This place is absolutely amazing! The staff is extremely kind and helpful, they went oit of their way to make our stay comfortable. Our bungalow was clean and spacious. Their food was delicious and the portion sizes are big. They always had vegetarian options for us. We did the trip to Sukamade beach to see the big turtle and see the baby turtles. The 2day/1night trip was absolutely worth it. We ended up extending our stay.

Sri is just the nicest host! We originally wanted to stay two nights but ended up doing so many different tours with her so we extended to five nights! Just ask her for your tour wishes and she will make it happen! And she can also help you with how to get there and basically everything you need. On top of that she is a great cook! If you are looking for a way to get in touch with the locals in the most beautiful area of East Java you can stop searching!
