We stayed at Panorama guesthouse for a week during low season and it has been amazing. James and his family always went an extra mile to make us feel at home and to help us with moving around Batanta and organising our trip in a fast and reliable way(including picking us up from Waisai and taking us to Sorong). We felt welcomed and taken care of.  The house is basic, but fully new and spacious, they cleaned it every three days, they changed bed sheets, mosquito net is new, comfortable bed, there is everything you need.  The food was always freshly cooked, tasty and abundant. We always had veggies raw and cooked, rice, noodles, fresh fish/tempeh and tofu and fruit. They gave us fruit and little cakes as snacks, coffee and tea are always available. Breakfast was also good and satisfying.  The private beach is just heaven, quiet and relaxing. There is a great coral reef right in front of the house, we saw many fishes and a baby shark. You can see sunset and sunrise directly from the house.  You can visit the small village next to the house, 5 mins by walk. There is a diving center (gears top notch) 20 mins far by boat where we had a great night dive.  We would definitely recommend this place to everyone that wants to live a local experience in a edenic place very off the beaten track.  It's a place and a holiday we'll never forget.  Thank you James and family for the lovely stay! 

A gem if you seek for peace and a genuine eco-environment in the wild. Thankful that there is no TV, no music, no shows/entertainments, no buffet wasting food, everyone goes to bed early, no noise, and no electricity at night. Every corner feels intentional, clean, and harmoniously connected with nature. Protecting a place like this keeps its value and uniqueness. And what truly makes this place extraordinary are the amazing people and owners. Their dedication and passion for protecting and preserving the land, the dive spots, and the island’s way of life, is present in everything they do. Normally I enjoy a lot the places I visit, but this one adds a special place in the soul, like home.

Beautiful homestay with only two little houses by the sea on the beach. It was truly paradise!! Very friendly family and excellent food. Nice house reef. Well arranged excursions to see dugong and casuary.

Amazing place; direct contact with nature; very well managed; the resort is focused on diving, but I did snorkeling while my husband did scuba diving; we found the professionals to be extremely polite and focused on their specific areas; the rooms are a good size and well decorated; you have an incredible view of the sunset no matter where you are in the resort; at the time we went (August) and while we were there, we had a diver to accompany me in snorkeling and a diver to accompany my husband in scuba diving; the food is great and very tasty.

A great option for our stay in Raja Ampat. The island is beautiful and calm. The sunsets are incredible. The attention of the staff is extraordinary, you feel at home. Brigitte is a great hostess, she tries to help you with everything and make your stay very pleasant. Quality food, fresh and varied. The diving center works wonderfully, equipment in good condition and a super professional dive Master. Close to the best diving spots. The cotage are beautiful and comfortable. We would definitely go back!
