We loved our stay and will definitely be back. The room was beautiful and sparking clean. We enjoyed the restaurant not only for the wonderful breakfast menu but also for the extensive variety on the lunch/dinner menu; local, Asian, Italian and American cuisines. Everything we tried was delicious. Best of all, the staff was amazing. Hendra and all of the kind people at the front desk took care of us and always called us by name. The massage therapists were so talented. Ilu and Armaa and everybody at Koko’s always greeted us with smiles and made meals there a bright spot in our day. Can’t wait to go back!

We have been traveling Indonesia for the past 3 months and this stay has been a definite highlight! From the location, to the rooms, facilities, staff and owner, all were exceptional! We were wanting surf lessons and a board and were surprised to find out a local surfing legend owns The Point (Agus) who took us out and gave us expert guidance for surfing the Medewi left breaks. We could hire surfboards from the property also.

We stayed for about 10 days in Medewi, but I feel like we could’ve stayed for months ! Everything is made so that you’d really feel at home in the camp, and it truly makes it seem that way ! I even got the chance to celebrate my birthday during a surf trip to Java, which I am so thankful for, it was everything I could’ve ever dreamed of ! Medewi was definitely the highlight of the few months we spent in Indonesia, and I can’t wait to be back again. I am so grateful to have met all these wonderful people and to have lived these unforgettable moments, in and out of the water. In terms of surfing, Muklis and the rest of the team really push you and challenge you, whatever your level is. Bringing back some of the good vibes back home to France, and I’ll see you next time 🤙 Thank you guys for everything, love you ❤️❤️❤️

It truly is as the other reviews say. A paradise resort. The hotel is placed pretty far away from central spaces in Bali, but they have several reasonable tours on site which they provide. They have free drinking water on site. The staff is very kind and always with a smile. Even the wifi is pretty decent and available across all of the resort. Very good fruit and alcohol free drinks, the alcohol drinks is not so good here sadly.

This part of Bali is reminiscent of the Bali that existed...

This part of Bali is reminiscent of the Bali that existed around Kuta 42 years ago. Rice paddies, beach, mountains…back to nature. It’s a peaceful part of Bali and we hope it stays that way as long as possible. We only stayed one night but would love to come back with family. Some of the sights around Bali are easier to access from here. Definitely recommend Puri Dajuma Eco Resort to explore this part of Bali and some of the rest of it.

Chilled mostly, bunches of Canggu ?

Chilled mostly, bunches of Canggu ? surfer kooks in the morning in surf. Locals/expats are great, great little community you can wrap your head around as a Lombok expat. Less choices is sometimes better, easy to get info and shared knowledge. Gilmanuk road is not for the beginners...nor is the big surf.

If you are wanting excitement, nightlife and a lot of shops...

If you are wanting excitement, nightlife and a lot of shops and bars then this is not the place for you. It does give you access to north Bali - but there is still a lot of travelling involved - however if someone who knows the roads is driving then it is enjoyable and gives you the opportunity to take more notice of the scenery. We loved staying in the Kelapa Retreat and Spa and we used the restaurant there for the whole of our stay. The beach is lovely. It is long and suitable for surfing and swimming and walking along

If you're looking to get away from the crowds, look no...

If you're looking to get away from the crowds, look no further. We walked for an hour along the beach and met just a handful of people. Get here before they finish the motorway as I'm sure it won't be the same! The sea is a little bit rough, but the beach is amazing for walking.

The beaches here are relatively remote and crowd free. The surf can be challenging for general swimming, as can the rocks but it has a lovely vibe and the locals gather to socialise on the beach too, which adds to its interest as a place to visit. Authentic Bali! Pulukan Town is quote ordinary but nearby Medewi has a small strip of surf shops and good restaurants.

This was a lovely property right on the ocean at Medewi. Great if you're into surfing. If you're not a surfer, there's nothing to do so perhaps Balian is better if you're looking for Yoga and other activities. Nice food, beautiful staff. I had a couple of good massages at the hotel spa. The air-con and Wi-Fi works well and the sounds of the crashing waves block out any noise going on at night.

Kelapa hotel is an absolutely beautiful and peaceful place. It’s the perfect spot to relax, unwind, and recharge your energy. The staff were incredibly kind and always went out of their way to make me feel welcome. If I ever get the chance to return to Bali, I’ll definitely come back here.

Fabulous point location right at surfs edge! Amazing property with the most friendly and helpful staff! The boutique size of hotel with most generous rooms are beautifully presented and have an amazing covered deck facing the surf add up to make one of my most favourite Bali stays!

A little paradise, a marvellous garden surrounded by nature. Rustical and beautiful houses and very nice and available owners. You can rent scooters a the hotel and some delicious and chilled restaurants are close (by feet).
