Husna is a very friendly and knowledgeable host, her guesthouse was a perfect place for a few days for us to visit Kalibiru, scuba dive and ride scooters to the nearby village. Husna helped us coordinate all of our activities including renting motorbikes and made excellent suggestions for nearby restaurants. Her breakfasts are delicious, AC is in the bedroom only and worked well, wifi available, and she even delivered umbrellas to us at a nearby restaurant during a rainstorm! Highly recommend staying at Sandy Guesthouse if you are in Waisai.

The villa itself and the views from the jetty are breathtakingly beautiful. The food, lovingly prepared by Debbie and June, was a delight every single day: fresh, varied, and incredibly tasty. And then the tours… what an experience! Under the fantastic guidance of tour guide Christian, we had the time of our lives. We discovered stunning places, and the snorkeling was absolutely magical. The rooms are big, but very outdated. Showering is rather difficult because there is no showerhead and bucket bathing is not easy either because there is nothing to scoop the water from. It's okay for one night, but if you are looking for sth a bit more comfortable after having spent some time in bungalows, I wouldn't recommend this place. The staff is really friendly and helpful though!

It's enough of what I needed. Friendly people, 2 separate rooms with one a bed, one a couch. Close to the local market. Perfect stay for 2 people. Don't expect too much luxury but price matches
