Sorong served as a stopover before our liveaboard dive trip to Raja Ampat. The journey to Sorong was quite lengthy - two flights from Manila, so I chose to rest before diving. We attempted to explore the island by visiting the Pagoda and the local market for a cultural experience, but there wasn't much to see beyond the islands themselves. The people were very friendly. I took a 7km walk to explore. Pagoda has lovely views. Not too much else to explore except life. One bonus I walked into a soccer match with all the village. It was a true highlight.Guest review byKirstenAustralia
