I got upgraded from Standard to Deluxe as I was their very first guest. My wishes for a vegan diet has been served to my fullest pleasure. I actually was allowed every day to ask for any dish I wanted - that was truly special - and the cook did a very very good job! The hotel offers moto bikes for rental at the usual rates and an express laundry service is available as well - laundry will be done within 4 hours. As this hotel just opened, all facilities are all new and very modern. No need to bring power adapters The staff were very charming and proactive, they made my stay really enjoyable. As I left very early on my check out day, my breakfast has been also served 45 minutes earlier than usual breakfast schedule - thank you again :-)!

A very nice, small hotel with just a few rooms and plenty of privacy. Excellent cleanliness and reliable staff, and a wonderful view of the sea. In the lobby, you can refill your water for free and without any restrictions, which is very convenient.

Gaia-Oasis Abasan Mountain Retreat is one of the most beautiful places I have found in Bali and is most probably one of the last hidden paradises of peace and tranquility on the island. The vast property lays on a hillside and the buildings are nestled amongst the trees. There is a wonderful scent of Frangipani flowers all over the place. There are different accommodations to choose from, there is a 13-m pool in which extended swimming is possible and the place features Yoga and Meditation halls with stunning views. The main building is the restaurant, where delicious meals are served three times a day and free tea and flavoured water is available all day long. This place is perfect for people who wish to get away from the mainstream tourism, who love nature and are looking for a way to disconnect from a 24/7 availability. Internet is available in the main building/restaurant. Everything is very clean and well maintained. What makes the place unique, however, is the people: I met three of the founders and they where very hospitable and made me feel like home far away from home. All members of the staff are very friendly and go to great lengths to make sure their guests are well accommodated. Thank you Yen, Helen and Mariah for unforgettable moments. Terima Kasih, I will come back.

We’ve been 7 nights at the Kirana Tembok and it was our favorite place so far, in Bali. Dewa and his skilled team at the restaurant made our stay unforgettable with their motivation and joy for the job they do. Their internal communication is exceptional as well. The food is very tasty and has more choice than all of the places in Bali we have visited so far. This is important, because there is no town except the small Tembok village within walking distance. The room was huge and everyday we had it cleaned. The gardening is made with lots of care and love. The pool is heavenly as well as the view and the staff were all so friendly and helpful! If you want to have an amazing experience in a relaxing, peaceful and beautiful place with an infinity pool and a view to the ocean, we recommend Kirana Tembok! We will miss it.

Tejakula is a great place away from the busy tourist areas...

Tejakula is a great place away from the busy tourist areas of the south beaches. There are great Warungs, bars and markets for shopping. We saw waterfalls, temples, hot springs and a family run salt farm. Quiet walks along the black sand beach and making friends with the locals are some of the reasons why we will come back to Tejakula.

The lack of traffic, the water is clean and clear I I live in Cairns on The Great Barrier Reef and found some splendid fresh, alive and undamaged coral to the right of a place called Prana Veda. Friendly people, no one nagging you. I eat wherever the locals eat usually, get a scooter use map app and explore

You have to try hard to discover it.

You have to try hard to discover it. Good for explorers not the typical tourists looking for insta ready things to do! Widis taxi right outside Alamanda resort is a great option to take you around. Widi is reasonable and if he likes you he gets his wife along for a one way drop to give you company.

Has the basics, food, liquor, friendly people and nice views. No footpath to walk on, there was a scooter hire place but I did not need it, has an ATM but not for Aussie Card Holders = that is 1.2km North of town. 3-4 nights here is about the right amount of time.

Away from the hustle and bustle of south Bali super tourist spots. Genuine location near local village - quiet lifestyle of locals. Plenty of day trip options to temples, volcano, waterfalls. Scuba area well known for the reef diving. Just lovely and not a 'try hard' area.

We liked that it wasn't touristy at all.All the little shops down the road were locals shops.we watched locals net fish and make salt.local people drove us to interesting local places.roosters woke us up at sunrise.we could hear the ocean at night.

Beautiful villa with very excellent staff, a villa just for you providing complete privacy and what is important on site staff with and chef can really prepare excellent Balinese and European dishes. I must mention the very nice staff who are there but who are not visible. Everything you want is on site. Every request of ours together with the organization of the trip was immediately fulfilled. TOP place for an ideal rest, silence, swimming pool and it couldn't be closer to the sea.

Perfect getway in a not very touristic part of Bali. Just next to a Salt Farm where you can take a look how the farmers are making the special Tejakula sea salt. The host also provided some salt and we bought some at the factory. We were the only people for our stay of two nights. Be aware that there is nothing else around. Food and Drinks can be bought at the in-house restaurant. offering simple yet delicious food like Gado Gado, Nasi Goreng, Soto Ayam, etc.

Everything was wonderful at Bahari Villa! A comfortable and quiete place, comfortable bathroom and bed, so clean, so nice, spacious an really, really, really authentic. Great cold pool, big breakfast, out of crowds place. near the ocean, near services, and at the same time you can have a little isolated paradise. Best place we were in Bali.

Incredibly welcoming and lovely, interesting host family. Putu' s Cooking was extraordinary, delicious and best in Bali for sure. Such generous people and so helpful. Gorgeous garden and loved hanging out poolside. Had 2 wonderful massages and loved hearing about Matt's surfing culture. A lovely cultural experience we will be back 😊
