What wonderful hosts , so welcoming and helpful with tours and onward journey logistics. Idi is the ideal host, as his English and great conversations were a highlight of our stay with him in his family home . Our room was spacious, and ex lrg bed was super comfy + ensuite bathroom was adequate. The deck overlooking the lush surrounds was a lovely place to sit, Idi served us local fruit and avocados + fried bananas as welcome treats + we had a delicious dinner while we were there also cooked by Idi .our breakfast was also great with local breads and foods. A great experience in a unique homestay .

The view from the patio of this homestay was breathtaking. The owners are so lovely and accommodating with wonderful ideas on things to see and do. The sunrise opportunities were bountiful in such a beautiful valley. Communication with the owner was excellent and he even arranged to meet me at a central location and organised a scooter if required and a rider to take me to the Hobbit Cave and onto my next accommodation. Shared dinner with the host and fellow guests was unique and delicious.

Natalia and her family, especially her daughters, were incredibly friendly, helpful and great hosts. They speak great English. The room and house were immaculate, very clean and comfortable. The garden is beautiful, they provided us coffee when we arrived, and the breakfast in the morning was delicious. Having access to the kitchen to have tea and coffee or other foods could be a bonus for some people. We rented a scooter for a great price from them to get around Ruteng and the surrounding area, as the homestay itself is quite far up the hill from the main part of town, but it's a beautiful, quiet neighbourhood.

We stayed two nights with Peter and his family and we miss it already! It was the best homestay we stayed at in Flores!! We felt soo welcome and at home from the moment we arrived. The room was nice and Had everything we needed. We joined a wedding and a ceremony which was soo nice to experience! We also had a walk to the ricefields. We really enjoyed the area as its in a quiet area of ruteng. We can highly recommend staying here and we will be back for sure. Thanks for everything:)
