Really lovely accommodation and great reception from Sharon. The room is so warm and quiet, great for a weekend trip to relax. It is a walking distance from Glendalough Park and 5min from the main part of Laragh, where you have a coffee shop and a few restaurants. I personally loved the breakfast option being in the room, so me and my friend could have a very relaxed morning, enjoy our breakfast and get ready for a day out in nature. Would highly recommend this amazing spot :)

The Glendalough site may be interesting from a historical perspective, but it's not worth the trip to this region unless you're interested in trekking. It's a free site, but with few monuments. It's a long walk on a well-maintained forest path; nothing more.
