From the beautiful and luxurious setting, decor and furnishings in a gorgeous little town, location, to the view of Rock of Cashel and the gardens from our suite windows, delicious cocktails and food at the onsite restaurants, the late check out time to enjoy the facilities, the exceptional and very professional staff, who paid attention to every little detail, our stay at Cashel Palace was an unforgettable experience and a memory we will treasure forever.

Patrick is a fantastic host we hit it off with him from the word go.... refreshing to have a host who has time to have banter with you, a true Irish character to have the craic with :) Would revisit just to annoy (LOL) Patrick..... Location is spot on, close to town and Rock of Cashel. The room and facilities were more than expected, had access to a kitchen and a lounge if needed. Breakfast was great, more than ample and offered more if required. All in all one of the best traditional B&B's we've stayed in, shame we weren't there for longer. Alan & Lorraine

Our hosts were charming and very welcoming, offering up lots of ideas of where to eat and scenic routes to drive. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Our room was light, spacious enough and bed was comfortable. Bedding was luxurious and warm. The house is in a quiet area just outside of Cashel. We loved the summer show at the Brú Ború cultural center next to the Rock of Cashel. This is a great place to overnight.

The interior of the house is quite impressive, almost like a small manor. Nice room with comfy bed, coffee machine and a tiny refrigerator. They have some really tasty whiskey to try and the breakfast was very good. The Lady (May) who is taking care of the place is also really nice and helpful. Next time we're at cashel we'll definatley be staying at hill house again!

If you intend to explore Tipperary and the coast with a car a bit, this town is a good spot to stay. Less touristy and central to major roads. Very picturesque. One day is enough to see Cashel and one night and day to explore Cashel and Cabot.

We had great weather which made it easy to walk around town and the main tourist attractions. 2 days is plenty but not many options for live music. Food options during the week are somewhat limited, but the places that were open for dinner were very good- recommend getting reservations.

Gorgeous place , plently of bars and restaurants

Gorgeous place , plently of bars and restaurants People are friendly and welcoming. Plently of places to visit in Cashel and nearby towns too - perfect base for visiting other areas Cork, Waterford, Limerick all within an hours drive. Kilkenny and Clonmel are within 30mins and worth a visit too.

We were very lucky in having good accommodation with a perfect host. We had an unforgettable evening singing Irish songs around the Copperfield piano. Our host recommended a bar and a restaurant in town, both of which were very good. The Copperfield breakfast is also very special. We caught the last tour of the day at Cashel Rock and it was a thoroughly interesting and entertaining experience.

Cashel has a fascinating history.

Cashel has a fascinating history. A visit to 'the Rock' (with its ruined cathedral, Cormac's Romanesque chapel, and great views) is very highly recommended. The 'full tour' was very informative and included a visit to the chapel. Cashel itself has great facilities and we could easily have stayed longer.

What an amazing, quaint town.

What an amazing, quaint town. We wished we had been there longer. There are plenty of places to visit, including the Rock of Cashel, the surrounding countryside is idyllic and there are plenty of bars and restaurants too chose from. The people are bar far the absolute friendliest I have ever met. The locals, once met, remember you the next day and say hello and stop to chat - you literally feel like you live there - I really did not want to leave and am already planning another visit - will be staying at the Baileys hotel again too - what an absolute diamond find that place was too Places to eat & drink - there are plenty more but these are ones we went into: Baileys cellar bar and Restaurant Daverns Bar & Restuarant Mikey Ryan's bar & Restaurant Feehans Some of the Quaint Irish pubs (not all listed but there are plenty more that looked lovely) T J Ryan’s Brosnans Bill Foleys Bar & Lounge Cocktail bar: City Bar Avoid: The Brian Ború - bit of a dump compared to the rest of the places available to you You don’t need a car to get around Cashel but one is needed to explore surrounding areas

The home was bright, cheerful and well decorated. Bedroom was spacious and beds comfortable. There was an upstairs sitting room where you could enjoy the view of the beautiful garden while partaking in a glass of water, coffee or tea and a homemade snack. The breakfast was fantastic. A wonderful host the best welcome and B&B we had in Ireland. Parking on site. Close to restaurants and within walking distance of the Rock of Cashel.

The staff on arrival were lovely and efficient. The Hotel is very very old but the standard of the decor in our rooms and in the public rooms was excellent. The evening meal in the restaurant was really good quality and reasonably priced. The restaurant was buzzing with atmosphere. The hotel is fantastically located for the high street of Cashel and a short walk to the Rock Of Cashel, that really shouldn't be missed.

Stunning house at a great location to visit Rock of Cashel. Very spacious bedrooms. One of the bedrooms on the upper floor offers direct view to the Rock of Cashel. Safe parking at the house. Very comfortable beds.
