This hotel was so delightful! Located on the hillside overlooking the sea, it was so adorable. We loved the old-fashioned key, there was plenty of room for our family of four, and the staff was so kind and personable! The food there was also great and they had plenty of vegan options for my husband! Not to mention, the hotel dog, Belle, who led us down the path to the beach and played endlessly with my kids.

Renvyle is a really nice place to stay, with space to take time on-premises, but also in the heart of Connemara from which to explore the beaches, towns and countryside. The staff are very helpful and the hotel provides good food in both the pub and restaurant.

I had a wonderful, if too short, stay.

I had a wonderful, if too short, stay. I used the outdoor pool and the hot tubs. Had a five star dinner with wonderful service. The staff are all amazing. An amazing nights sleep on the most comfortable beds. Delicious breakfast with so much choice and then it was off home for us :)

Great location, stunning scenery and routes for hiking and cycling. Ate out at Paddy Coyne’s - excellent food and service. Easy access to Connemara National Park, Kylemore Abbey and only 20 minutes drive to get ferry to Inisboffin.

We enjoyed a 2 night stay in Renvyle House for my husband's 60th birthday..From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and comfortable in the beautiful surroundings despite the rain showers.We enjoyed the delicious 5 course meal on the first night and the staff were so nice,they even sang Happy Birthday and presented a small cake with a candle to my hubby..The second night we had the bar menu and that was also delicious.We will be back again for sure,thank you Renvyle House staff.

This village is too remote with no cafes/restaurants or taxi service. It used to have cafe and taxis but not any more. It has a good petrol station and shop. We travelled to Letterfrack/Clifden/Roundstone and Cleggan beaches incredible food lovely would definitely stay in 1 of these villages in future.

Very quiet and peaceful area. Hiking is spectacular . Easy to drive around the area , roads are narrow and drive on the left , but the country roads are quiet , more sheep than anything on them ! And always give way to sheep :) Everyone was friendly and helpful . Loved this beautiful area and exploring Connemara National Park.

We had a lovely stay, the apartment was new, clean, well furnished, and the position was spot on if you want to explore the Connemara by car. The view is beautiful, and the apartment is situated in a small village that has some pubs where you can eat, and everyone in very kind and helpful. If you are looking to enjoy some true time in Ireland, where the nature is Breathtaking, the people are genuine and you are far away from the big cities and the heavy tourism this is the right place for you. I'm really looking forward to come back!

We loved staying at this hotel for one night, we wished we could have stayed two. The hotel owner is the sweetest person we've met on our entire trip, she makes you feel special. The host is very friendly and welcoming, the location great - it is near to the Connemara National Park and the Abbey. The room is nice, warm and clean. We could check in late (~22:00) due to our arrival. The breakfast is nice, everyone can find something for themselves including gluten free options (fresh self made pancakes), plant milk, different cornflakes and eggs with bacon.

The hotel is in a stunning location, near the coast with wonderful views of the Connemara mountains. The room was very comfortable. The staff are friendly and very efficient. The food is very good. The atmosphere is relaxed but well organised. The owner comes around at dinner to make sure all the guests are happy, which is a nice personal touch.
