Lovely family atmosphere and staff were very attentive to all needs. Loved the fact that the 3 children had proper single beds rather than sofa beds or sharing beds as in other hotels and all beds were very comfy.

So grateful to the front of house who checked me in. He was a very kind and understanding young man. He rang up to see if there was a room ready so I could be checked in a few hours earlier. Luckily there was and this allowed me be able to shower after my flight and get changed and dressed for a wedding due at 1pm. A godsend really! The accommodation was clean and tidy. And the breakfast was great. The location was perfect on arrival from the airport. Would definitely return again.

Croagh is a lovely small village and enhanced by the lodge garden centre and restaurant. great place to stop over for breakfast, snacks and drinks. Fantastic garden shop and garden centre. Incredible friendly and helpful staff (mainly family run). There are two wo pubs in village (no food). About 6 kilometers east,on N21 is the most amazing village of Adare. Its got everything, shops, bars , restaurants, and hotels, churches. its probable the pettiest village I have ever visited in this area.

We were in the area for a wedding and the stay at Ballycannon Lodge was great for what we wanted. The owner Mary was very friendly and also agreed for early check-in and gave us the room that was already ready, so that we could change to go to the wedding. The room was very spacious (there was a big bed and two small beds and it was just the 2 of us), one could make coffee in the room or also take coffee from the owner's cute coffee place right next to the hotel.

I must appreciate for the hospitality i have received. The manger was such a nice lady. She was caring, guiding the routes even on call. I had one of the best breakfast ever in Ireland. I had been to many 4 star hotels. But i have never seen such arrangements and friendly environment.
