The woodlands is one of my favourite hotels. It caters for absolutely everyone. I loved the fire pits on the driveway in, it added a touch of class to the entrance. The petting farm is fabulous for the kids. The hotel itself is so warm and cosy with stunning decorations. Our room was amazing, so spacious and designed beautifully. The staff couldn’t do enough. Our meal was delicious. We absolutely loved the outdoor area, cabins with the stoves, Pizza , burger, coffee and icecream huts and finally the sports bar. Everything amazing.

Breakfast was lovely and kept us full for the day. The location was perfect for us as we were visiting relatives close by. The property grounds are very, very pretty and our room was clean and comfortable. We stayed overnight, traveled for a few days and came back to stay again at the end of our trip. We were so happy to return.

Croagh is a lovely small village and enhanced by the lodge garden centre and restaurant. great place to stop over for breakfast, snacks and drinks. Fantastic garden shop and garden centre. Incredible friendly and helpful staff (mainly family run). There are two wo pubs in village (no food). About 6 kilometers east,on N21 is the most amazing village of Adare. Its got everything, shops, bars , restaurants, and hotels, churches. its probable the pettiest village I have ever visited in this area.

From the moment we arrived Mary couldn't do enough for us, even checked if we needed anything else during our stay. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The hotel and grounds were very well kept and everyone very friendly. Can't recommend this little gem of a place enough. Mary was born to be a host and runs a beautiful, welcoming and homely place to stay, we will definitely be back!!

Ballycannon Lodge is exceptional value for money. Our room would not be out of place in a 5 star hotel. Mary was very friendly and advised us on where to eat. The lodge is part of a complex that includes a garden centre and you can get a good breakfast there from 8 am. It is a few miles from Adare which is a very pretty town and has lots of quality eating establishments.

I've requested late arrival and there was no problem with it .Host was waiting for me until 1am. Legend !!! Room is 4star hotel standard. Love it Highly recommend
