Wonderful Glenveagh national park
Errigal is a crowd puller
Coast is quite close by car
Leisure centre was down for maintenance when we were there so always check if that's important

A small Donegal town on Wild Atlantic way. Not much around.
A small Donegal town on Wild Atlantic way. Not much around. In Gaeltacht region but everyone English speakers too. Beautiful walks around the Poisoned Glenn. At the foot of Mount Errigal so plenty of hikes available too for all abilities.

Perfect location to explore errigal and the national park. Accommodation has everything you need and was really well presented.
Plenty hotels out there could learn a thing or two from this place. Host even had some essentials like milk and tea left for us. Local shop less than 5 mins away with everything you might need.
Host provided great recommendations for food, tried both the Fara Óg Restaurant (An Chúirt Hotel) and Danny Minnies, both we lovely.

An ideal base for our trip to Gweedore. Noreen's hospitality is second to none. We arrived to a lovely warm welcome, fire lit and kettle boiled. The place was lovely and cosy and absolutely spotless. Well within walking distance to shops, pubs and beaches.
