Everything but the staff hospitality especially. The hotel is just a short stroll to the Stephen's Green shopping center and Grafton street. The staff especially Tanya reached out to me before our stay to know our arrival timings and any other requests we might have with the children to make out stay enjoyable. We arrived at 1:30am on a freezing winter night and Michael was there to receive us at reception. He was so welcoming and helpful which meant a lot after a long flight with two small children under 4. The hotel upgraded our room, had the heating on, provided us with a late check out and what was most touching, Michael asked if we would like something to eat. We said a sandwich would be fine for the children and he came back with a massive tray of treats, drinks, snacks and sandwiches for the whole family. We were blown away with the generosity. The kids were in their element and the whole experience in the hotel was amazing. The staff made us feel like VIPs. The room and bathroom was luxurious and spotless clean with tea and coffee facilities. There is a lovely bistro downstairs for lunch or dinner and a bar. We will definitely be repeat customers to this hotel in the future. The Green truly deserves high praise and we wish we could have stayed longer.

Everything - one of the best places - and value for money at that - I've ever stayed in in all my travels. Perfect location if you're staying in Dublin. We were fortunate to get one of the bigger rooms with probably one of the most comfortable beds I've had on my travels, and honestly, everything about there was just nice. Dun Laoghaire is a hip spot away from the huddle of the city Center. Great walking on the pier, waterfront and through the village. Some lovely restaurants and coffee shops . Breakfast at the Vanilla bean was lovely. The famous Forty Ft swimming spot is a short walk. Lots of quaint shops and vintage secondhand stores scattered along the Main Street . Good public transport on busses , trains and taxis . Aircoach to Dublin Airport from Marine rd opp City Hall. Market in the Peoples park is well worth a visit if you’re there over the weekend. Childrens fun fair on the waterfront runs daily from 12 noon till 7 pm . €3/ ride.

It's an older part of dublin that hasn't been ruined by modern development. Very much a place for the wealthy to live but fun to visit. Wonderful old buildings and still has a village by the sea atmosphere. And easy access to the city on the dart. Plenty of good bars and restaurants and unusual shops

The location. The proximity to the docks as we arived in Dun Loghaire in the evening. Proximity of the railway to access Dublin quickly. Easy access to shops, pubs and restaurants. Quiet area so no noise disturbance. Parking was scarce but the host was accommodating and did her best to fit us in.

The Royal Marine Hotel in this South Dublin location is excellent. A Dun Laoirelandmark for decades. Also despite the negatives I detail below, the bed was one of the most comfortable I have had in any hotel over the past year.
