Ann is a superb host, we felt really welcome and got some great tips for the area. Very clean and nicely decorated room. Breakfast was available in a well sorted shop in the village, near the beach.

The home was in an amazing location, looking out over the water! It was walking distance to a lovely pub where everyone was so friendly and also had delicious food. It also had a petrol station nearby if we forgot anything. The area was quiet yet so close to the beach and all the facilities the island has to offer. The owner was so kind and helpful throughout our stay which was amazing. Overall it was a fantastic stay and we couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant experience in Achill, we will be back!

It’s such a beautiful house! The staff is really nice and helpful, and even remembers the guests names. The restaurant in the house has some good food and the pub in the back is a good evening out with other guests and locals.

Keel is a charming beach town with a laid back vibe. We lived exploring the island and learning more about the history. The abandoned village and the Neolithic court and passage tombs nearby are totally worth a visit!

amazing stay in a lovely cottage in the most stunning of locations, highly recommend!! We stayed 3 nights but could have stayed longer. Brought our dog who had an absolute ball on the beaches! Stunning island, will defo be back soon.. book this cottage!

Keel is a beautiful place on Achill Island with amazing...

Keel is a beautiful place on Achill Island with amazing beaches stunning views peace & tranquility. The people are very hospitable & friendly. Lovely bar resturant Amesthyst where we dined and had the most delicious meal & drinks. Plenty coffee food trucks and lovely cafe called the Beehive. These were all within walking distance of where we stayed. You can easily cycle or drive around Keel & Achill Island. If you like sheep & baby lambs you won’t be dissapointed they are all over the island 🙂Keem beach is a few miles from Keel and we’ll worth a visit. It’s a little piece of heaven with amazing views aqua sea and golden sand.

The scenery was unbelievably beautiful.

The scenery was unbelievably beautiful. I felt as though I were on another planet. The free range sheep are everywhere, so drive slowly. They ran right up to my car. There were several viewing points and benches. I wish I had planned more time during nicer weather, the hiking would be fabulous.

Stunning beach and landscape (glorious weather helped!) and good range of pop up beach food places as well as decent selection of restaurants - Amethyst pub highly recommended running two sittings in season.

We were beyond impressed with the place.The owners met us on arrival and complied 100% with covid regulations We were shown to our suite The place was impeccable, Breakfast next morning was above 5 star.. Service was efficient and personal to a most impressive level. We were served tea and coffee in the garden after breakfast, which was most appreciated, giving us relaxation time on fabulous sun loungers. We had an evening meal , which was un-describable The food was superb, cooked to perfection. We had an amazing stay Will we return ??? YES. DEFINITELY 👍

The location was superb, the staff were extremely polite and helpful. The Hotel itself is quite dated in terms of decor, very eighties and there was an unpleasant odour in our bedroom, it was like a stagnant water smell. We heard that dinner here was excellent but when we enquired about a reservation we learned dinner is served quite early and we were offered 6.00pm or 6.30pm which was too early for us. The dining room was full both evenings.

Stunning view from our room down to Keel beach . 5 minute walk to pubs and restaurants . Friendly and welcoming hosts . Restful and quiet , rooms quirky but very comfortable . Attention to detail appreciated ,owners exceptional and professional .Breakfast was amazing and such a diverse choice. Dinner was an extra surprise and top quality . would recommend this place to anybody . Thank you Jon and Alex

We really enjoyed our stay with Anne. The view from the room is stunning and the room very comfortable. We were there on the day of the 10th Keel Sheep Show which was just down the road. This was a fascinating insight into life on the island. Anne was a kind and generous host.
