Kinsale has some interesting walking trails around the town and area, with some exceptional views. The proprietor of Dalton's pub knows Grand Bend, Ontario. He and his wife had a cottage there. :) Small world.

Kinsale is a gorgeous place with lovely scenery and lovely people. Lots of unusual shops and lovely tea rooms and places to eat. A lovely harbour and has a market day also. When raining there is a museum to visit(if no rain, worth a visit) also Art Galleries. A big choice of places to eat also. All of the places are easy to reach on foot.

Kinsale is one of my favourite places in Ireland, we love the chilled vibe of the town, the quirky streets and shops, fantastic coffee shops, bakeries, craft shops and of course its famous restaurants. I would recommend the walking Tour (Jason's) that leaves from the Visitor Centre, and the fantastic Harbour Boat Tour, and if your mobile a visit to Cork City and the beautiful and historic town of Cobh.

Lovely historic seaside town.

Lovely historic seaside town. Some very fancy restaurants if that’s your kind of thing. Quite a walk to the town beach (40 mins) and the best beaches are a car drive away. Surrounded by beautiful, unspoiled countryside,

Kinsale is a wonderful town, fantastic independent bars and restaurants, lovely unique boutique shops. Architecture is exceptional, literally is something for everyone. The only negative is it’s far too popular! Very busy and hard to park, I’m a dog owner and very difficult to experience the whole experience like having meals or shopping as most businesses don’t allow dogs except guide or assisted dogs. It’s more obvious when it rains as there’s literally know where to go with your dog.

We were told Kinsale was one of the best destinations in Ireland, it’s quite nice but not great, yes some top restaurants like Man Friday and Fishy Fishy. Also a couple of good pubs like Jim Edwards. It could be heaps better, many places closed. Nothing of interest on the water like most Irish seaside towns. Thankfully our accommodation at Perryville House improved our stay there.

Great location. I was able to have dinner and a few pints and then head back to the hotel without having to worry about driving. The room was spacious and very nice. The cleanliness was excellent. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was perfect. Everything I needed for a great night's sleep in Kinsale.

The hotel is nice, could do with a maintenance overhaul…probably impact of covid and difficulty in getting staff. Food menu was limited. Elements of service missing, probably not enough training given to young inexperienced staff who are doing their best.

Gorgeous little boutique hotel and cafe in the centre of Kinsale. The room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. There was a tv and tea, coffee and bottled water were all available. I'd definitely stay there again.

In the end we stayed at the Blue Haven Hotel (a sister-hotel) due to maintenance at the Old Bank Town House where the hotel staff was very friendly and nice. They made sure we had a great time there as well.
