We arrived late and the hostess was accommodating and welcoming. Free entry through the automatic gate so we could come and go as we pleased. Beautiful grounds and estate and lovely breakfast in the dining room.

The location was excellent, right in the center of town. Lots of places to eat, drink and shop all within walking distance. Close to the Black Water bridge with a lovely view from the lounge window. Good kitchen facilities with a microwave and tea & coffee readily available. Lovely bathroom with hot shower. Parking was nearby in a public car park for 1 euro a day! Finally Ray was an excellent host. Thank you!

Really big house with a lot of place! Hostess very friendly, even suggested I could do my laundry:) Breakfast - either wide variety of cereals or use the fridge with provided food and prepare the Irish breakfast myself.

Had a short overnight stay here for a Richmond Revival gig. It was something special to be able to hear the soundcheck from my room. It's all a work-in-progress in a place with great character and even more potential. Very central, very affordable, and the bed was so comfortable that I felt I was lying on a rock when I got back into my own the following night (those nuns weren't leading a very ascetic existence...). There're pets around the place, including a couple of squabbling goats named Noel and Liam at the bottom of the garden, but they're well out of your way if you don't want to see them. However, I mention them for those others, like me, who do book places on account of resident dogs and feline overlords (I'd have them in the advertising material). The Richmond Revival is a little gem in North Cork.

The apartment is in a very old former convent. It felt cosy and welcoming. A window at each end of the living room and in the spacious bedrooms gives wonderful views over the local countryside and Fermoy town. The bedlinen, towels and t towels were fresh and clean and Tea Coffee and all condiments needed for cooking were available. The apartment was in the condition expected for such an old historical building (the rooms were freshly painted) and the grounds are wonderful. I admire the owners for what they are trying to achieve with this project and I wish them the best of luck.

The owner was very friendly and welcoming. The room was large and comfortable. Lots of potential at this property and the grounds were beautiful. I would have loved to explore the whole house. The kitchen in my area was well equipped.
