AustraliaOur stay at Zehava’s Zimmer in Ein Gedi was truly special. The location is peaceful and breathtaking—surrounded by desert cliffs, close to the nature reserve and with views of the Dead Sea.
What really stood out to us was the creativity and charm of the space. The room is thoughtfully decorated with beautiful antique pieces and artistic touches that give it a warm, unique character. You can really feel the care and personal touch that went into creating this space—it’s not just accommodation, it’s an experience.
Zehava and her history herself were incredibly welcoming and kind, and made sure we had everything we needed. The kitchenette was well equipped, and the outdoor area was perfect for relaxing in the quiet desert air.
Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for something authentic, artistic, and peaceful in Ein Gedi. Thank you, Zehava, for sharing your beautiful space with us!

Unfortunately, we were there when the war broke out in Israel but they offered us to stay as long as we needed with no extra cost so we could keep safe. They invited us for a bonfire, to walk around, and to drink some beers so we felt relaxed and at home. We can't thank Kfar Hanokdim enough for everything they did for us. We made really good friends and I hope to be back soon. תודה רבה.

If you want to have a silent night, don't stay here.
If you want to have a silent night, don't stay here. It's a very nice camping, with a lot of fun, but we had to get up early at 4.30am (to climb the massada), so the music which was still playing loudly till 11pm (or later) was just not a good option. You are right in the National Park and we did not need transport on Saturday which is great in Israel. Had wonderful opportunity to hike in the national park. The ruins of the old synagogue are beautiful and the archeological site is beautifully presented. Everything in the campsite worked beautifully and was well maintained.
