Great property right by the beach in Alleppey. Clint was super friendly and helpful - he organised a sunrise tour of the backwaters which was a real trip of the highlight. We also received a complimentary upgrade on the room which was very kind. We loved relaxing by the pool! Brekkie was super generous as well. Loved the pancake.

An oasis of pure luxury and charm. You step into a paradise filled with butterflies, tropical parrots and birdlife. The food was next level sublime and the entire staff were super kind, friendly and helpful - they went out of their way to make us feel right at home. Beautiful bathrooms, comfortable bed and each day we dined on our veranda - super relaxing. I have travelled to many countries and stayed at many 5 star resorts and this venue trumps them all. We will be back!

Can't say much more than wow, what an amazing stay. Let's start with the host, Daniela, who is incredibly kind and helpful! She gave us so many great tips on things to do in the area and was always smiling and cheerful. She truly made us feel at home. Her staff was also incredibly friendly and lovely to talk to! Secondly, both the breakfast and dinner they served were absolutely amazing. We were served paneer fry for dinner one evening, and hands down, it was the best thing we've tasted during our entire month here in India. The location was also incredible, right on the beach. The outdoor areas were so cozy and well-maintained, with sun loungers and hammocks. I simply cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you so much for our fantastic stay, Daniela

Our stay at Venice Riverside was absolutely delightful! The property is beautifully located right on the serene backwaters of Alleppey, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere that’s hard to find elsewhere. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and tastefully furnished — with every comfort you could ask for. We loved waking up to the sound of birds and the sight of boats gliding by on the river. The staff were exceptionally warm, polite, and always ready to help with a smile. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made our stay truly memorable. The location is perfect — close enough to the main attractions yet tucked away in a calm, natural setting. The evening view by the riverside was magical, especially with the cool breeze and reflection of lights on the water. Overall, Venice Riverside is a perfect blend of comfort, nature, and Kerala charm. Highly recommended for couples, families, and anyone looking to unwind and experience the real beauty of Alleppey.

The fool will criticize the beauty of God's own country and the people were the same here with affection and generosity and not to miss the the food here.. but to say to rectify the things that meed to be was the local auto transporters and shikara boat operaters , some were good , others were oppurtunistc to cashing the tourists. Need to regularise with standard operating rules for travel ...

The Vaishnav tour boat was excellent and trip went on very well. One thing I want to bring to the notice of the government authorities is that, almost all the house boat people are throwing kitchen garbage waste into the river water and already hyacinth started growing at most of the areas. Pl instruct all the boat owners to maintain proper dustbins and not to throw even a small piece of paper into the river. Afterall. It is because of this river water or back waters what ever u call , your business is going on and some thousands of people are getting employment. It is your minimum duty to protect the river, only then you will be protected. Pl take some necessary action in this regard. Other than this I have nothing to say about alleppey and the word awesome is a very small word to describe my family's enjoyment in this trip.thank you alleppey

Ours was a stopover on the way to Trivandrum.

Ours was a stopover on the way to Trivandrum. We left around 6.30 am and took the Alleppey Changanachery road. It was a wonderful experience of around 21 KMs straight highway with water on both the sides of the road.

Trying to choose what boats to rent on line was mind boggling, ask your hotel advise and arrange through them. We found, shikkara boat ride, 14:30 to 18:30, amazing. Then, next day, 11 AM to 5 PM day house boat, also amazing.

Interesting area, but to be honest everything was the same , coconut trees on the river banks, nothing really to do so a nice time to just relax & watch the world go by but could do it with a day trip

Some wonderful views. It's a safe area.

Some wonderful views. It's a safe area. Some of the prices are very low and the food is excellent. Two days is enough in Kochi, one day enough in Athirapilly, three days Munnar, three days Kumily. We finished off with seven days in Alleppy which was a day too long. Research on accomodation essential. Don't be frightened of homestays or eating out but be careful and wash your hands properly and often especially after handling food. Bargain down trips and purchases but not too much; people are poor and sometimes desperate for work - don't take advantage by arguing ovr £1!!!

We stayed in Uday Backwater Resort for 4 nights during our Alleppey trip. This resort is really amazing and well connected. We can see the backwater from your balcony. They have enough staff with friendly behaviour and quick response time. The breakfast buffet always has a wide array of authentic Kerala cuisine. This resort is very well known in Alleppey. The swimming pool is big. They provide kayaking. Breakfast is amazing. Rooms are clean and very well maintained.

The homestay was wonderful. The room was very comfortable and clean with a nice hot shower. The brothers who run the homestay are very friendly and helpful. Also, you should try the Kerala breakfast, it was delicious and the portion was extremely generous. The property is located on a quiet canal on the edge of the city, which is a great location as it is peaceful and only a stone's throw away from the backwaters! Overall, an amazing place to stay whilst in Alleppey.

The property looks exactly like it did in the pictures. Super clean and hygienic. The location was perfect! The check in and check out was very smooth. The host Mr. Prince was the best. He took extra care of me. Was always available on call and was willing to help with everything I needed! The travel was all taken care by him! I would 100% recommend anybody that is looking for a place in Alleppey, to check out Casa Prince as an option.

Me and my partner loved this hotel! If you are staying in Alleppey, then this is the place to stay. Extremely clean, and the most helpful staff we have had on our trip in India. The owner helped us book our tours and helped us get a ride to our next destination in Munnar. And having A/C after a hot day of sightseeing makes this place the best!
