You have to prepare for an immersion in noisy and chaotic traffic, colours, smells and all kinds of sensory experiences. I can recommend Church street with all the shops and little restaurants, its big mall and little stalls. You can buy nice jewels for very few money, and drink coconut water directly from the young coconuts. I can recommend the book Namma Bangalore. The soul of a metropolis, of the Indian author Shoba Narayan (2023) . She had lived for 20 years in the town. It is a series of essays about book shops and book clubs, literature festivals, about architecture, birdwatching, the parks, a nature community in Bangalore, restaurants, musea... Very good written and it helps to find your way around. We were only for one week in Bangalore, for personal reasons, and nevertheless we visited the beautifull Cubbon Park, Church Street, Blossom Book House, the Museum for Art and Photography, all next to the hotel.

Bangalore is very nice, cool weather - heavy traffic Chickpet market - Famous for Sarees, house holds, Ladies wear SP Raod - Famous for computers, pc's, gaming accessories KL Market - Flower, Fruit market Good to time pass at Burma, Hongkong, Malysia Bazzar Especially i like the trees surronded within city. I felt like i am in hill station iSkon Temple - Asia's biggest temple - full commercial Cubbon Park - Its an awesome place State of Central Library - Good for reading (8.30 am to 7.30 pm) Commercial Street, Church Street Science Planitorium - Good for kids

This is our 6th or 7th stay in BLR and each time we had a different experience. Weather was a little against us especially since we failed to visit Bannerghatta Zoo for the second time in a row. Excellent food options and kids enjoyed Empire hotel's coin parotta and butter chicken, a must try combination.

I travelled there for work. Its a really nice place. Kozhikode to Bangalore bus went through wayanad, a tiger reserve, Mysore (and Mysore palace). The weather was pleasant. Auto drivers are good and try speaking a mix of Hindi - English to make you understand what they mean. I also visited Orion Mall. Again, it was a short business trip. But my experience was really nice. I had breakfast at my hotel. And I used to just order dinner on Swiggy.

Weather is amazing, everyone knows that.

Weather is amazing, everyone knows that. There is an entrepreneurial vibe in the city, with many good quality outlets for food. You will never get bored of the city if staying in the right area. Traffic is an issue, everyone knows about that as well.

a totally unspectacular city. if it weren't for the greenery and the weather, Bangalore would be a frighteningly dystopic place. Horrible traffic, infrastructure is in ruins, too many people, filth and garbage everywhere and everything is way too expensive.

The location is perfect if you are in town for any event taking place at Bangalore International Exhibition Ground, as I was. It is also close to the metro station (Dasarahalli) and the main road. The staff are very polite and helpful. The all you can eat complementary breakfast on the roof is on par with those at 5 star properties, in terms of the taste and authenticity. The price is as good as it gets. I booked just a few days before I travelled and paid under Rs. 2000 per night.

The flexibility this hotel provides, be it for early check in or room service etc. is appreciable. Mr Manjunath at front desk is helpful and understands the customer needs. A great stay if you are in Bangalore for work or leisure. The hotel is in the city center and most popular areas are easily accessible. In house restaurant has good food.

It's a perfect choice for those who are bored with the monotonous ambience of 5 star hotels. This feels more like a homestay without food. I wish they introduced some traditional simple food. The place is done tastefully and Laika seems to have collected the artifacts over the years. This place has the vibes of traditional Bengali homes.

For a so called 5 star, this hotel was pathetic in terms of service and attitude. Would I recommend a stay here, absolutely not? The only thing decent about the hotel was the dining staff, the food itself left a lot to be desired, as it was bland and tasteless.

A nice 5 star hotel. They provide all the toilitries you need. We walked to Cubbon park in the morning it is 30 mins away and to the Comercial street in the evening 15 mins away. All positive.
