I had a wonderful experience at this hotel.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The property is spotlessly clean, and the staff are exceptionally humble and polite, making the stay feel very welcoming. A special mention to the chef, who kindly accommodated my request to prepare meals without onion and garlic—a thoughtful gesture that I truly appreciated. The restaurant is lovely, with a pleasant ambiance and quality food. One thing to note: if you're using navigation apps like Waze, make sure to take the main road, as the app may direct you through inner village routes which can be confusing. It's best to ask for directions step-by-step, as the online location may not be accurate. The hotel is built with correct Feng Shui principles, which is clearly felt—it's calming, peaceful, and I had a genuinely restful sleep. The swimming pool is well-maintained and a great addition to the stay. Overall, a fantastic experience. Highly recommended!

The city is centre place of Buddhism.

The city is centre place of Buddhism. There are many temples of Buddha - some from indian Buddhist organisations and some from international organisations. The main temple where Budhha was enlightened has a huge complex and many spots of ancient Buddhist history. One must hire a certified guide to explain the importance of each site.

Visiting all the tourist places is possible within one day.

Visiting all the tourist places is possible within one day. We visited the Monasteries in the morning, as they close earlier than Bodhi Temple. Cameras and mobiles are restricted inside the Bodhi temple. Only pictures in your inner soul are permitted.

In Bodh Gaya, the Mahabodhi temple is the absolute highlight. Tere's nothing compared to the incredible feeling of walking in the same spaces that the Buddha had walked in and sitting under the tree under which he was enlightened. Bodh gaya town is a crowded polluted and noisy, but still vibrant. used Tuk tuks to get around and walked.

Visiting Bodh Gaya with my parents was truly an unforgettable experience that brought us closer together and gave us a deeper appreciation for Buddhism and its history. This sacred town, known as the place where Buddha attained enlightenment, is filled with such peaceful beauty and spiritual significance. One of our favorite moments was at the Mahabodhi Temple. As we approached, the temple's stunning architecture took our breath away, and standing beneath the iconic Bodhi Tree felt almost magical. We spent time meditating in the temple grounds, and I could feel the serene energy all around us—it was a moment of connection that I'll hold onto forever. Another highlight was visiting the Great Buddha Statue. Standing at 80 feet tall, it’s hard not to be awed by its presence! We snapped countless pictures, trying to capture just how magnificent it really is. The gardens surrounding the statue were lovely, perfect for a leisurely stroll where we could chat and reflect on what we had seen. We also made sure to check out the Thai Monastery, which was such a lovely surprise. The architecture was beautiful, and the atmosphere was so calming. We even joined in a small meditation session led by a monk, which felt like a unique experience to share as a family. It’s not every day you get to meditate in such a tranquil setting! Overall, our trip to Bodh Gaya was filled with laughter, exploration, and meaningful moments together. I can't recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a special getaway with loved ones. It was a journey that connected us not just to each other but to something much larger than ourselves.

Cannot talk about this place enough! I arrived in Bodh Gaya hearing that it was where The Buddha attained enlightenment. Ended up spending 3 days with the Kumar family. They showed me around all of the major temples, ate with their family, and they took me to the school they have built. Meeting the kids was my favourite experience in India so far! Make sure you do the experience where they take you to the school and meet their family!! Thank you, Gautam!!

Visited Bodh Gaya with friend and loved our stay in Sakura. Got ourselves a room where we saw beautiful sunrises and the tip of the mahabodhi temple. It's fabulous compared to the price you pay. Quite safe for female travellers and the beds are super comfortable to wind down after a long day covering different monasteries in Bodh Gaya which are situated roughly within 1km radius, which is super convenient!!

This is probably one of the fanciest places in Bodh Gaya to stay in. The staff was nice, and they try very hard to be helpful. The room was nice, clean, and spacious. They had a decent laundry service as well. It was around a 20-30min walk to the Mahabodhi Temple. Tip: The Astha Cakes & Flower around the corner has great cappucino.
