The Postcard Saligao is an oasis of hospitality in the most beautifully restored house with so much attention to detail and comfort. I felt like royalty! The staff is extremely helpful, all speak excellent English and are engaging and warm! Our meals were absolutely delicious, the chef is creative and the ingredients fresh and locally sourced. The hotel organised a wonderful driver for us and as the Hotel is well located, we were able to explore many of Goa’s tourist sights. We also explored the villages around Saligoa with the hotel’s bicycles. Every evening we had a yoga session on the porch with an inspirational yoga instructor . I wish I could stay longer and I do not think there is a more beautiful serene hotel in Goa than the Postcard in Saligoa! Thank you to the exceptional staff!

I stayed here at the end of August 2025. This property has recently been taken over by Meritas Hotels & Resorts, who also have a presence in Lonavala (Maharashtra), Shrivardhan, and Goa. The rooms were neat, tidy, and well-cleaned. The breakfast spread was impressive and far better than many other hotels in North Goa. The Wi-Fi worked smoothly, as each room had its own router. The staff were very helpful and polite – be it at the Front Office, Housekeeping, or Service team, everyone ensured a pleasant stay. Bathrooms came fully stocked with Biotech toiletries. Overall, it was a great value-for-money experience. The property is also centrally located in Calangute, with the beach just 10–15 minutes away. I must add, the property is being upgraded and improved – from the premium quality of bed linen, toiletries, cutlery, crockery, and glassware to the cleanliness of the swimming pool water, everything is of high standard. One important note: the hotel does not allow swimming without a proper swimming costume, so I suggest you carry your own. Highly recommended for anyone visiting North Goa!

If you prefer less crowd, then move away from main beach entrance by at least half a kilometre on the beach. The beach visit should be in your must visit place list. There's multiple options for food & drinks. If one feel about harsh sunlight, then suggest you to visit either early morning or late in the evening, to spent time in beach

Beaches are ok, should be taken care of cleaning time to time... Restaurant ls are good, food was amazing, specially Anthony & Britos, must try Fat Fish restaurant's Fish Thali🤤 Goa has become little expensive but Alcohol & food is still affordable.

Good stay at Hotel Yashdip. Our regular choice. Based close to calangute beach and most of the bar & restaurants. We enjoy the stay. The hygiene, people working are well mannered. You can even get 2 wheeler, 4 wheeler on rent vehicles from one of the guy who is just located outside Yashdip main gate. Usually charges 350 - 400 per day for 2 wheeler. The pool was attached to the Blue Rays group of hotels. The hotel is actually in 2 places, near to each other, though. Very convenient for the beach, couple of minutes walk. Staff were very helpful and supplied us with a fridge as we requested. Basic and simple room but very convenient for the beach and in the heart of Calangute.
