The stay was wonderful. We booked a room for a night's stay en route to kaza. The place is being run by tamang and his team and echor has done a good job in putting things into place. The head cook is very skilled and customizes food according to your tastebuds. Kiran is adept in room services. The cottages and rooms are cozy and very comfortable. The location near the helipad and 2 mins walk from the ancient monastery is amazing. There is no other place like this in a 40 km radius.

We had a wonderful stay at Yankit Homestay. The family were all extremely welcoming, friendly and hospitable. The room was clean with a very comfortable bed. We liked that the place was just outside the main area because it was quiet and peaceful. Easy to walk into town and down to the river. The homemade food was delicious, we really enjoyed trying traditional Tibetan dishes!! We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others wanting a lovely homestay experience.
