We stayed here to attend a family wedding nearby. This hotel ticked all the boxes to accommodate a group of 6 adults and 2 children. The reception staff Archana, Arun Kumar and Abrir are some of the names I recollect, were very efficient and helpful with all our requirements regarding local transport and help with return flights. We were very chuffed when Mr. Shaji George, the CEO went as far as offering an upgrade when we had issues with the local taxis. This was much appreciated. The rooms were well laid out, fair sized clean. comfortable with more than adequate facilities and a brilliant walk-in shower. Other desirable facilities was a good sized swimming pool with a toddler section, recreation room offering table tennis, etc, so entertaining children was not a hassle. There is a well equipped gym on site. My grandson, a keen footballer was delighted to be invited by some young teenage boys to join in the Astro-turf pitch, which is rare in any hotel I have stayed. All floors are accessible by lifts with the added bonus of a listening to a short melodious piano piece whilst using it! There is a attached bar as the name indicates. The hotel has a restaurant on site offering breakfast , lunch dinner and room service with varied menu. The food was excellent with menus suitable for children, we had two young accompanying us. The hotel is on the main highway with easy access and railway tracks nearby so it is not a quiet neighbourhood. That said, the hotel is well sound proofed, the only noisy disturbance we observed was in the adjoining rooms by individuals, who perhaps had a drink too many! We enjoyed our stay and certainly recommend staying here.

Without any expectations i travelled to a budget friendly place, but the hospitality and food served for me was the best part, Anayan the care taker was awesome, owners of the resort always checks our comfort zone and kept me happy, so happy with the overall experience. A calm and quite place to stay calm read books, to cook together with friends or family. I wikk give 110 out of 100

I stayed here twice, so this is my second review. Great stay, great people, parking on site. Beauty salon on the first floor has great services and prices.

The service was great. The owners are very attentive and friendly

We booked 3 days at Ameya and added an extra one. Amazing garden, top notch bungalow and great swimming pool overviewing the lake. 4 times upclass dinner served at our own bungalow and we once took the opportunity to join the chef delivering his masterpieces. Everything perfect because of Anish (always ready to explain Indian history and Kerala culture) and his staff constantly running the extra mile and then doing one more. Highly recommended!

Whether we wanted to explore local attractions, take scenic walks, or simply relax, everything was within reach. The food was absolutely exceptional. Each meal was a delightful experience, with creative dishes, fresh ingredients, and wonderful presentation. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner all exceeded our expectations — a true culinary highlight! We also loved the variety of activities available in the area. From outdoor adventures and cultural experiences to peaceful spots for relaxation, there was always something exciting to do. The staff gave us great recommendations, which made our days even more enjoyable. Overall, our stay was unforgettable — a perfect combination of comfort, hospitality, and charm. We can’t wait to come back and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a truly special experience.
