My experience at Vajra was amazing as it was my arrival during my first days in India; I especially enjoyed yoga classes and the calmness of environment and the kindness of the staff. Perfect secluded place to clear your mind. The welcome was spectacular! The staff is reaaaally attentive. 🥹 Rooms were very clean and the massages were relaxing. The food is prepared based on ayurvedic tradition which might be a challenge if youre not used to it. But its part of the experience! We managed all our trip even without cash, arrived from Cochi airport and continued directly to Cochi to our next location, they helped us arrange the drop off. :) Kind regards from Czech republic! Special thanks to our madam yoga teacher! 🖤Wanda

In my experience, this hotel is just overrated.

In my experience, this hotel is just overrated. If you are not booking the exact "River View Balcony" room, it’s not worth the value for money. The check-in procedures were slow, taking around 25 minutes. Additionally, the photos on their Booking.com listing are not representative of the actual rooms, which was disappointing. The stay overall was just okay. I would rate it as a 3-star facility and quality hotel. While the rooms look new due to recent construction, they were not very clean and had a strong smell of room cleaner chemicals, which was unpleasant. Another issue is with their menus and pricing. They do not display GST or net amounts, especially on the restaurant menu. This feels like a hidden trick, almost a scam, and left a bad impression. The only positive aspect was the staff—they were very friendly and helpful, which made the experience slightly better. Overall, an average experience that doesn’t justify the hype or the price unless you specifically opt for their premium rooms.
