Alisa and her small team at Di-Lac made our stay just perfect. Delicious breakfasts and dinners were served with helpful hints and tips for our visit to the area. She kindly organised taxis and excursions for us which we were so grateful for. Thank you so much! The hotel itself is a few kilometres above Gangtok. We stayed in one of the rooms with a balcony which I thoroughly recommend. Waking up to a fantastic view where the clouds kissed the mountains below really shouldn’t be missed. If you want to be surrounded by the hustle and bustle of MG Marg don’t stay here but if you want peace and quiet, fabulous views and the beautiful sound of birdsong, look no further.

In this part of the world and at this price point, it is not often that one comes upon a place like Shanol Residency. Clean, comfortable, and refined, Boutique may well describe it.
