one of my best stays in India) room is clean and stylish, i had a great view from the balcony and some black monkeys came to say “hi”)) the hotel has great decor, you’ll love to take a picture. but the heart of this place is two guys who run the hotel: smiling, helpful, taking care of - you might feel adopted, they are great and this is a great place to stay. Although the forest is not so impressive - the hotel is worth visiting itself.

Everything. The hotel is in the middle of nature with breathtaking views from the room and from the gardens. The rooms are big and very comfortable. The staff is dedicated to making sure you have a perfect stay. The food is also incredible while still very affordable. Wandering in the gardens or swimming at the pool is very relaxing. And last but not least, we have tested almost all activities provided by the hotel (morning yoga, cooking demonstrations…) including the zip line, and we recommend everyone to do the same. It was a lot of fun and great cultural experiences.

Kathakali show and Marshal Arts show was heavenly.

Kathakali show and Marshal Arts show was heavenly. Elephant ride was amazing and soul touching. Visit to spice gardens was an enriching experience. Jeep Safari, however was very disappointing. After sustaining to the heavy bumpy rides for almost 1.5 hours, you don't spot any animals, Not even deer or elephants. They charge a big money for these bone dissolving rides but what you get is dust and back pains. Not worth the price at all.

Very bad experience of my whole 9 days trip to Kerala. The electricity connection was very poor and the bathroom lock was broken . The reception desk was empty most of the time , very poor administration .

PERIYAR TIGER RESERVE TREKKING IS VERY MUCH DIFFICULTY. MUDDED NARROW PATHS FILLED WITH BITING INSECTS MADE THE TREKKING MISERABLE. THEY RECOVERED ONE PERSONS ENTRANCE FEES ILLEGALLY TO MAKE IT TO A MINIMUM NUMBER. NO ANIMALS OR BIRDS SEEN INSTEAD ONLY BLOOD SUCKING ANTS.

Its awesome place to break from the routine.

Its awesome place to break from the routine. Overall prices are at the upper side as being tourist place. Food was bit challenging as by 8 am no restaurants were open and they serve for very limited time so plan it accordingly.
