Beautifully restored Chettinad mansion. Rooms were very spacious with lovely period furniture. Beautiful old photographs of the owners family are displayed through the property and it adds a unique homely touch and takes us back in time. We tried the vegetarian Chettinad saapadu which was awesome. We took a nice evening walk around the village with Mr. Siva who also gave us tips for sightseeing around the region and even arranged for us to see the owners other mansion in a nearby village. The staff went out of the way to make us comfortable.

Fascinating place. You get to stay in a 120yr old Chettiar house which cost 650cr to make in today's value. The staff of so sweet and the food is outstanding.

Amazing staff, host was really helpful to provide the information, staff was polite , helped in hiring Auto and suggested good places. The room was clean and tidy, they were gracious enough to provide early check in, initially I was sceptical to book as this didn't have any reviews , but booked it anyway, it was the best stay in our budget in Chettinad style architecture.

Fantastic hotel and amazing staff. My friend and I loved this place, so much character and charm. It has been beautifully restored and it was a very special place to stay.
