Ekaa Villa was a fantastic place to stay in Agra. Great value for money, the room and bed were super comfortable and the hotel is tastefully furnished with hand picked decor and special touches. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, in particular Sahil, who was in contact via WhatsApp organising pick ups, etc and provided some great suggestions for the next stop on our trip - Jaipur. Ekaa provided very helpful pre trip information after we had booked and we used them to organise a transfer from Agra to Jaipur and then on to Delhi. This came through at a very reasonable price and the driver was excellent. After a long day of travel and sightseeing we had the dinner special in the restaurant downstairs which was delicious and provided a taste of several local specialities. Would definitely recommend Ekaa to anyone looking for a place to stay in Agra!

This truly is an exceptional hotel and I cannot praise it more highly. It was in a different league to anywhere else we stayed on our India trip and on many previous trips to India . The service was outstanding in all areas and the hotel management is very impressive. Every little details is well thought through. The location is incredible and our room with balcony had a fabulous view of the Taj Mahal. ( the only hotel which does). The decor is beautiful. The room has very comfort. The food was delicious. The pool was heated with comfortable sun beds.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Trident Hotel, and I can’t say enough good things about my experience! The hotel boasts lovely, well-maintained gardens that create a serene atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. The staff, from the doorman to the housekeeping team, were incredibly attentive, helpful, and friendly, making us feel welcomed throughout our stay. Our room was spacious and impeccably clean, with great attention to detail that truly enhanced our comfort. The beautiful gardens and pool area provided a lovely setting to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. I would like to give a special shout-out to Tina at the front desk and bartender Vivek, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Their warm hospitality and personalized service made a significant difference. We also attended the wonderful Christmas gala dinner on Christmas Eve, which featured a tasteful and delicious spread of both Indian and Western cuisine. It was a delightful culinary experience that added to the festive spirit of our stay. Overall, I highly recommend the Trident Hotel for anyone looking for a luxurious and enjoyable getaway. This place is salvation. Do not stay in local hotels!!! They look ok on photo, but don’t believe — it’s a fraud. We were "lucky" to spend three hours in one of these after watching several similar ones. Local hotels are not cleaned at all, bedclothes are stained, the walls and windows are dirty, the toilets are a separate quiet horror. There is no paper in them, everything is rusty, dirty, and the towels are so dusty that you immediately sneeze. Everything at Double Tree was at the highest level: cleanliness, beauty, delicious local cuisine at all meals, an excellent swimming pool, gym and, of course, responsive and considerate staff. Do not spare any money to stay here, otherwise you will simply spoil your impression of Taj Mahal cause you’ll be tired and upset before visiting this magnificent pearl of Indian culture.
