The location is beautiful, and the house has everything you need, cozy, but spacious. The kitchen has everything you need, even extra oil, spices, pasta, coffee, in case you miss something. We have not used the gas grill outside though. And the living room has breath taking views, and on top of that, the hut-tub outside.

This was my second time at this hotel and both stays were excellent. The beds are the most comfortable in any hotel I’ve stayed at in Reykjavik and although small this time, the bathroom was very functional with a small washbasin in the room itself. Design of the rather small room was clever and tasteful. All the staff I met were helpful, friendly and casual, which for me is important. I had light meals on two occasions, excellent, and I really liked that the small bar/restaurant was popular with other Icelanders - it’s only a couple of minutes away from proper downtown area and still it feels different. I need to stay in Reykjavik at least once a month, and this hotel will now always be my first choice. Simply excellent.

An amazing hotel for our last night in iceland. This is exactly what you need after exploring the island. We had spa access which I 💯 recommend. Absolutely beautiful hotel. The only down side is that parking isn’t free (p2) you have to pay till 9pm and stet paying again at 10am. It didn’t cost us a lot of money because we only stayed one night and left early for our flight so we skipped breakfast. There was construction work next to us - I didn’t hear anything. We walked to town and left the car in the parking space since it’s cheaper than p1
