We stayed at CityHub Reykjavik in May 2025 and absolutely loved everything about it. The concept is modern, comfortable, and super practical. The location is excellent, the common areas are cozy and well-designed, and the self-check-in process was smooth and easy. A special thank you to the staff for the lovely birthday surprise they prepared in the room for my husband — it was such a thoughtful touch and made our stay even more memorable! There’s really nothing negative to mention. I would definitely recommend CityHub to anyone visiting Reykjavik, especially couples and travelers who appreciate style, comfort, and a unique hotel experience.

This was my second time at this hotel and both stays were excellent. The beds are the most comfortable in any hotel I’ve stayed at in Reykjavik and although small this time, the bathroom was very functional with a small washbasin in the room itself. Design of the rather small room was clever and tasteful. All the staff I met were helpful, friendly and casual, which for me is important. I had light meals on two occasions, excellent, and I really liked that the small bar/restaurant was popular with other Icelanders - it’s only a couple of minutes away from proper downtown area and still it feels different. I need to stay in Reykjavik at least once a month, and this hotel will now always be my first choice. Simply excellent.

Great service even prepared to have the hands burned on hot dishes to keep guests satisfied. Very kind and friendly. ive already answered these questions twice. we paid for a superior room and got one. Neighborhood is out of the way but has great views and animals and is near the road to Costco. we spent 2 weeks driving the entire island and enjoyed it. This place has a theme tastefully done and modern amenities.The Viking Hotel restaurant where you check -in has a nice themed restaurant good food and service.

Hlid Fisherman's Village had lots of "viking" character with some very interesting maritime realia, close proximity to Icelandic horses, heritage chickens, a koi pond, cedar sauna and two rooftop hot tubs. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable and the view was to the sea.
