Comfortable, quiet and cozy cottage with very nice hosts It's very rare for apartments to have a microwave and small cabin nearby with self-service grocery is a good idea. You're provided with a printed brochure that tells the story of Áskot Cottages, introduces you to the owners and explains how to use all the amenities - really nice. In the morning we were greeted by owners' cat, dog and puppy and it was a great company.

The set up was beautiful with a really high attention to detail. The showers were the highest quality, nothing like campsite facilities. The shared areas were stunning. The tent was warm and cosy and everything you could wish for was provided. The kitchen has full cooking facilities: 2 ovens, 2 hot plates, microwave, fridge and all pots and pans.

Our stay at The Dome was absolutely wonderful! The location is surrounded by nature, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We were lucky enough to see the Aurora right from there, it was truly magical. The room was warm, cozy, and comfortable, perfect for a night under the northern lights. We enjoyed our stay at this Guesthouse which is very lovely and 1hr from Reykjavík and also is kind of close to most of the attractions. Also the staff is lovely which for my surprise were from my country (Romania) . Breakfast and Dinner are very good . Definitely will come back for a summer period !
