This place is very special in many ways. The rooms are clean, each with their own bathroom, there‘s a sauna, which we did not use and a hot pot, which we also did not use, available. A very nice breakfast was offered, which included eggs, bread, jam, cheese and ham. The common room is very cozy, but if you are not a fan of hunting trophies, you should probably not spend too much time there.

The hotel is located on the fjord, the view from the windows unforgettable. Room very comfortable and bigger than I expected, beds very comfortable. From the hotel there is an underground passage to the restaurant, very interesting, with wax figures representing history. The restaurant where breakfast was served was beautiful, with a terrace facing the pier overlooking the fjord. The breakfast was very good, fresh local produce and finally bread that is not "toast" :)

One of the best places we stayed in all Iceland. It’s right on the fjord with scenic views around and the accommodation itself is great! Very cosy and comfortable, with attention to detail, every room or house was special in its own way and provided everything you might need. We came for one night, but stayed for two as we didn’t want to leave. You can enjoy food from the restaurant on site or cook it in a shared kitchen. The staff and especially the owner very super nice, responsive and attentive. Highly recommend!

Beautiful cosy wooden house above the town. Very friendly helpful and accomodating owners. Great Décor. Within walking distance from the town. Very cosy and comfortable room.

Hotel framtid exceeded our expectations. Beautifully situated with a view of the small harbor of Djúpivogur. The staff who run both the hotel and the restaurant are always on hand with impeccable service. The rooms are nice and spacious. The bathroom is hygienic and the shower works great! The dishes in the restaurant are delicious. Then we are not even talking about the breakfast, which is one of the best we have had in Iceland, wide selection of bread, spreads ... all the trimmings. Congratulations!

We had originally booked a cabin with an outdoor toilet and shower, but we were kindly upgraded free of charge and offered a warm room in the house due to the colder weather. The kitchen was fully equipped, everything was very clean and beautifully maintained. The breakfast was excellent. A wonderful place that left us with such lovely memories.

Offering mountain views, Framtid Apartments and Holiday Homes in Djúpivogur offers accommodation and a garden. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay.

Wonderful little village to stay. The summer house we stayed in was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful. The restaurant in the hotel next door (same owner) serves very tasty food.
