The views from the rooms were amazing (during our stay it was snowy). The lounge/common area felt extremely cosy. With good drinks and food, you can play games and watch the view. Also it’s a good location to see auroras (in fact we did). It’s close to the glaciers, so daily trip is possible. The staff were friendly.

It was my second time in Hörgsland Cottages, and also this time was great. The house was spacious, warm, and tidy, and had everything we needed - the kitchen was fully equipped. Comfy beds. Very nice area with spectacular surroundings and also near to the Fjaðrárgljúfur. Really worth the price. I could come back there over and over again :)

We felt at home right from the start. Both check-in and check-out went smooth, the room was clean and well-equipped and ultimately the overall atmosphere was very cozy. We enjoyed our stay very much and we would definitely come back!
