- As beautiful as in picture, and only 15 min away from the airport. It was the perfect place to conclude our trip. - It's in a quiet fishing village, very close to the light houses where you could go and watch wildlife and learn about the town's history. - Very easy to visit attractions on Reykjanes' Blue Diamond route from here - Super well-equipped and the host pays so much attention to details. There's pretty much all amenities you'd need. -The view is breath-taking - The bathtub!!

Excellent hotel, clean, quiet, and everything is working perfectly. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Just a few minutes to the airport, and the shuttle to airport works promptly. Hot tub is very pleasant and with a great view. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone arriving or leaving Iceland.

Absolutely amazing hotel with awesome and helpful staff. Luxurious and friendly vibe. Exceeded all expectations. The spa is extraordinary and also with wonderful staff. Magnificent restaurant with delicious food. We stayed one night prior to our flight from Keflavík.

Green, ocean and volcanic nature all in one place.

Green, ocean and volcanic nature all in one place. Long walks by the sea, lovely churches and old houses, icelandic horses and sheep, So near Reykjavic, the blue Lagoon and the airport, its situated in the pecfect place, right in front of the ocean. Easily reachable, good roads even the ones that have just been destroyed by recent lava. The hotel has a wonderful restaurant!

Gardur is a convenient location close to the airport.

Gardur is a convenient location close to the airport. The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable, The access was easy with no stairs for brining in luggage. I liked the small town and visiting the lighthouses nearby. I enjoyed my stay here and would stay here again.

The lady running the check-in desk was really lovely and welcoming. I really liked the design of our room; like a wooden cabin. The beds were really comfortable and the curtains blocked out all light which was good, bathroom was spotless. The restaurant in the hotel was very nice and they were able to provide us with a packed lunch to take to the airport as we had an early flight.

We stayed for six nights in one of the Gardur studios, which was a great place to spend our time in Iceland. The apartment was clean, fully equipped and cozy. We even managed to watch the northern lights from the window of our bedroom. Something that we will never forget. Margret is wonderful, always helpful in case you need. Thank you for everything

The Bay View apartment is a very special place, a big apartment with great style at the sea side. Unforgettable is the sight from the hot tub to the bay, but also the living room and kitchen are simply extraordinary. Gardur is a great base to visit the Reykjanes peninsula and as location nearby the airport. We loved it- and would like to come back!

We booked the apartments after a week in a Campervan and it couldn’t have been more perfect for a final night in Iceland! The interior is SO stylish and everything is thought of, from the spices in the kitchen to extra toiletries in the bathroom! Watching the snow come down whilst sat in the hot tub was the icing on the cake.

The hotel is beautiful...looks like former stables in a past life. Staff were great, restaurant and food really good. Location near to Keflavik airport also ideal. Restaurant proprietor (who was working alone) also makes a mean cocktail - thank you. Seemed very clean too. Rooms very homely and comfortable
