The houses are located in the middle of nowhere in the best way possible. We had a cottage that was part of the long row of cottages. The view was amazing, towards the river, with geese and baby geese visiting us from the river. The room was surprisingly big, it looked really good, the bed was extremely confortable. The bathroom was very nice as well and it even had a bottle of lotion. The highlight was the heated floors which made the stay extremely pleasant. The kitchen in the common area was in a different building, so there was no noise from it. The kitchen was very well equipped, it had everything you might need. Overall, the attention to details in such a remote place was highly appreciated.

This is a great way of enjoying the terrifyingly beautiful Detifoss waterfall from the East side. If you want to be surrounded by nature, this is a great spot. The rooms are big and modern. The shared spaces are also nice. We were also lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the Aurora Borealis (in mid-August) which was something unexpected. There is a small portion of gravel road but it is in good condition. Would recommend!
