The rooms are really generous, you have plenty space for all your stuff. Also you have a microwave and an water heater in your room. Especially the hot chocolate was very delicious. Also the breakfast was very good, there are so many different things to eat (eggs, pancakes, cereals, cake, etc.)

A cosy little house and as the name states it is little (height wise). I banged my head on a few spots, I stand at 184cm tall so if you are taller be careful. Plenty of amenities provided, nice kitchen and lounge. Bedroom was upstairs with a little ladder to climb on. Everything was clean and tidy, good wifi.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Tangs in Ísafjörður. Despite its central location, the apartment is in a tranquil setting adjacent to a park. The building is historical, but the interior has been modernly renovated. However, it still preserves its old charm with thoughtful touches like displaying old carpentry tools behind glass and printing historical photos taken outside the building on the walls. One of these photos was so naturally integrated that we didn’t even realize there was a door behind it leading to the bathroom! The kitchen was extremely user-friendly and well-equipped. It had not only pots, pans, and cooking utensils, but also an abundance of coffee, tea, spices, and condiments—far more than we usually have at home, which we found incredibly convenient. There were also reasonably priced wine and beer available, and complimentary soda, including cola and orange juice. We only met the owner at checkout, but he was very kind and gave us excellent advice on a driving route. Thanks to his suggestion, we were able to see seals, which we would have missed otherwise. Although we stayed for only two nights this time, we would love to come back and stay longer on our next visit to Ísafjörður, especially to see the puffins again. Thank you so much for providing such a wonderful experience!

Due to some harsh weather conditions we almost canceled our stay there but fortunately we didn’t. It was a really nice stay there. The apartment is well equipped. In the kitchen is almost everything you need, the only thing we missed was some salt which would have been a nice addition as we haven’t bought any, because of the availability in all the other apartments. But this was the only minor thing you could complain about at this beautiful apartment. The Host was extremely nice, as the weather conditions got even worse over the night and all the roads where closed in the morning she oﬀered us to check out later or even stay an additional night. Thanks a lot to the host, but luckily we didn’t need to use the oﬀer as we were fortunate enough that the one road we needed to get to the next apartment was opened again. Now to the best part of the apartment: the bathroom. The bathroom just feels luxurious. All marble stone, just exquisite and extremely clean. The interior is quite nice designed and nice artistically set up. Definitely worth staying there.

Very friendly service. We were there for the race weekend of Fossavatnsgangan 2024 and the hosts even put a breakfast package for us to the fridge. They also immediately helped when our car got stuck in snow. Just wonderful kind, gracious and helpful people!
