Location was perfect for a stop on our long road trip. We had a lovely view of the fell at the front of the hotel, cute cosy room with a living room that had shared facilities. Staff were lovely, and helpful. Great to have the restaurant downstairs. Would stay again!

Great location, nice view, well designed apartments. This was our favourite accomodation in Iceland. The guideline of the hosts is so thoughtful, they visibly pay lots of attention to the needs of tourists. The apartment is new, with IKEA furniture. Bed comfy, everything was functional. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Midhop guesthouse is located in Þingeyrar and offers barbecue facilities. This guest house features a garden and free private parking.

Great for those who prefer to taste real life in icelandic contryside staying on the farm with personal contact to farmer than to take 5-star hotel in the city. We enjoyed full comfort of accomodation (clean, comfortable, spacefull, with significant imprint of personal dedication of Magnus and his partner Selina) as well as having a beer with Magnus, the owner, learning a lot about the life on the farm and horses. We also had a great horse ride around. Special bonus was the outdoor hot bath tub with magnificient view over the valley and waterfall just beside.

Overlooking Lake Svinavatn, this guest house offers basic rooms with hardwood floors. Iceland’s Ring Road 1 is a 9 km away.
