Great location and facilities provided. There were some basic cooking needs provided that we could use. Seamless check in and out. Room and water heater works incredibly. They informed there might not be electricity from 10pm-5am but glad that it didnt happen.

An absolute dream of a cabin at the bottom of the mountain looking out to a sea in the distance. Giant windows offer you a panoramic view of this wild remote landscape, with ponies roaming near and seals a short drive away. We got caught in a snow storm which was a luxurious, very awesome way to experience nature’s fury in absolute comfort. I recommend this accommodation highly and will cherish our three days there in my memory forever. The hosts, Runa and Pol went above and beyond to make our stay just right. Thanks Runa and Pol ✌️

Amazing views, rooms are little outdated, but everything we needed was there. Icelandic food buffet, over priced but taste was good. Breakfast was great.

This was a high class, boutique hotel. Small, remote and basic, but well worth the stay. The staff was wonderful and the food - high end cuisine. I can’t say enough good about this stay. Highly recommend.

Wonderful stay in a wonderful city. A chic hostel, the room is very clean, fragrant. The beds are comfortable, the room is huge, the bathroom is also very large. There is a beautiful terrace for drinking coffee, with a view of Kirkjufell mountain. Our room windows also faced Kirkjufell mountain. The room had a small kitchenette, but everything was enough for us. Grundarfjörður is a wonderful town, we are very happy with both the accommodation and the town.

Found 23 km east of Snæfellsnes National Park, this hotel offers bright, modern rooms with private bathrooms. WiFi and parking are free. Snæfellsjökull Volcano is within 20 minutes’ drive.

Stuffs were very sympatic and helpfull. Breakfast was very good - ham, cheeses, salami, toast, hardboiled eggs, sweets, joghurt, tea, coffee and juice. Good place for start our trips around.

The view was lovely and the space was bigger than we expected. The laundry facilities were perfect for doing a light load before continuing on our adventure. The kitchen was well equipped, coffee and tea were provided. The bed was quite comfortable and you could lie there and watch the sun come up. Would definitely stay here again.
