The perfect place to lay back after driving for a long time. Family owned business, very nice people. The room was very spacious and had an amazing view of the valley. We watched the sunset from our little deck over a bottle of pinot grigio. The food was good.

A beautiful guest house in a beautiful location with an amiable and attentive host! What a great find! Unfortunately we could only stay 1 night on our tour around Iceland, but it was enough to appreciate how special this place is! And we saw the aurora borealis for the first time there! Be prepared for a 6km drive along a rough track and a little peaceful isolation from the rest of the world......a great plus point for us. Very useful to be able to use the kitchen to prepare a meal. Thank you Valgeir for creating this place, for the nice breakfast and for the stimulating conversation!
