I were leaving the hotel early, before the breakfast for the ferry to Heymaey but staff gave us a breakfast pack and a coffee before we left. Great stuff, the guy from Kosovo and a Polish lady in the morning; all very friendly. Lovely staff, very pleasant.

Check in was easy, with our room number and names written on the white board. It was clean and spacious. The kitchen was well organized, with self-serving breakfast with generous portion already in the fridge. Each room had a basket to store food in fridge.

The breakfast was very nice, the surroundings are beautiful even though we were not lucky with the weather. The staff was super helpful and the hotel was beautiful and cosy. All details were thought of in the interior and spa was super nice even though it could have been a bit cleaner.

wonderful location in the middle of nowhere ! a great walk down to the black sand beach which we had all to ourselves. very nice staff who work hard to make sure you have everything you need. delicious dinner-the best on our trip to Iceland !!

couldn’t say enough great things about this place! great location and tons of space! free breakfast was a huge bonus. the first night we stayed we were the only guest, second night there was another set of guest staying on the opposite side of the building. hot tub was amazing!

Well equipped and very comfortable rooms in a fabulous location. The hot tub was a little bit of luxury after a busy day sightseeing. And Anna's home baking was a real treat

The cottage locates between the Seljalandsfoss and the Skógafoss so we were able to visit both falls twice in two days. The view outside the cottage is also excellent. The cottage is very new and the hosts are very friendly. We can feel that they put lots of effort into this cottage. Highly recommend this place!

A really nice, modern and clean place. We've read earlier reviews that finding the property was apparently hard - I don't think it is relevant anymore, since the property is pretty much there where google maps leads you ("Kvíholmi Apartments"), we've had no problem finding it in the middle of the night. The road that takes you there is a gravel road that's around 2,2km with some relatively flat potholes, we were there with a 4x4 but it is definitely managable with a 2wd. There are horses and sheep nearby, you can see them through the windows. We were very thankful for the wonderful soft bed and pillows, we slept comfortably everyday after a long adventure.
